Hi Everybody!
At Moo Mania and More we have a new challenge beginning today,
'At the Beach'
I made a 6x6" card. The sky was painted, the sea and beach were made with strips of torn, hand-painted paper. The ship, deckchairs and beach huts were painted, fussy cut and fixed on with foam squares. I added some cut outs and a sticker-fish, a stamp and a star-fish charm. The birds were drawn. As always, projects of all formats are allowed, and you have 2 weeks to join us. Hope to see you there!
For Art Journal Journey I made another 'stamp' using a painting made a couple of years back. The painting with the heads is one of my fave pieces.
Today my neighbour invited me to accompany him on a little outing to a forest near here, where we enjoyed walking along muddy, narrow and steep paths. I will show pics of the forest tomorrow. Here are just a few photos of the village nearby. I hope to visit there again!
Have a great day you all, take care,
and thanks a lot for coming by!
Glad you enjoyed your hike. Lovely beach scene for Moo Mania and a beautiful stamp you made for AJJ!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful work again, love both pieces you made, and glad you had an outing. Great photos. Hugs, Sarah

Bin schon gespannt auf morgen wenn Du mehr zeigst!
Einen wunderschönen Tag wünsche ich Dir!

Nice that you neighbour took you on a new adventure Valerie and the scenes look quite different to where you usually walk.
ReplyDeleteWonderful project for the new Moo Mania theme. It is so beautiful both in colour and imagery
Great stamp with your heads painting on it. I think this challenge at AJJ has started a love affair for me with making my own stamps.
Have a great day
Love Chrissie xx
As long as it's just a love affair with stamps I don't think Vic will mind!

Well your seaside scene has cheered me up, we've had the coldest, wettest summer this year. I very nearly put my heating on yesterday, seemingly the jet stream is in the wrong place!! Sounds like you had a lovely day exploring a new village. Take care. xx
ReplyDeleteDie Köpfe-Briefmarke ist super, sie müsste in Druck gehen! LG Ulrike
ReplyDeleteSie hat sich schon zur Postkarte gemausert!
DeleteWOW love the seaside creations, awesome everything and your photos are lovely.xx
ReplyDeleteYour made postage stamp is stunning Valerie, love those heads, I wonder what they say to each other.
ReplyDeleteA fantastic sea side scene and beautiful photos. This looks a lovely village.

Just love your postcard.... If I saw that in a store I certainly would purchase it :)
ReplyDeleteSounds like you had a fun day out and I can't wait to see the photos. Theses today were fun and different from your usual ones. I also LOVE your heads. They are all yours and no body does them quite like you-which is a mark of a really good artist. To have that item which is truly yours. Hope your day is going well. :)
ReplyDeleteI always enjoy seeing beachy art!
ReplyDeleteI really enjoy the color here today, beautiful beautiful pages!
ReplyDeleteThe goats look so peaceful,,
an diesen schönen strand komm ich auch gerne mit;) und deine selbstgemachte Briefmarke ist einfach spitze!
ReplyDeleteYour beach collage is a joy to see and the head stamp is superb. The goats look very sweet, tho' I doubt they are ;)
ReplyDeleteMany thanks for your recent comment on Wee Man's holiday :D {{hugs}}
Making your own stamps is a wonderful thing (altho a complete mystery to me!) and your two heads are really wonderful!!!
ReplyDeleteYour beach scene looks very inviting and that ART cancellation stamp is perfect too.
How nice to go a wandering with a friend.
Looking forward to more lovely photos.

I have always enjoyed your pictures Valerie! You have made a wonderful beach scene and I really like that stamp! Now that I live on an island in the Atlantic, I love the use of shells and fish, water and sand.

Fabulously fun card and I love your stamp made with your beautiful painting.

Oh, a new outing and a new walk, thanks Mr. Neighbour, I enjoyed it.
ReplyDeleteI do like your seaside piece with all the jolly little bits, like the deckchairs and the sand and the big fish smiling, it's all terrific.
Hi Valerie, great design for the beach theme. Love your stamp with the two heads. As always your area gives the best places to walk. Looking forward to the forest pics.
ReplyDeleteHappy creating, cm
I always love a seaside theme and love what you have created. Your painted heads stamp is really fabulous. Great photos too ... Gill x
ReplyDeleteAnother terrific postage page using the new beach theme, Valerie. The foliage where you live is so luscious and the photos so delightful to view. Can't wait to see the ones tomorrow of the forest and adjacent area.

ReplyDeleteLove your beach piece and postage stamp. What a quaint little villa. hugs :)
ReplyDeleteMy fav part are those little deck chairs - soooo cute!! This is a fun card - love all the bright colors - it makes me smile in a happy way Valerie. I loved seeing you outing in the forest on todays collage blog. (I'm behind reading!). That must have been some kind of walk... wow. I would never have made it up those steep paths - whew. But loved that picture of the path going up! Loved all the animals too! j.
