Hi Everybody!
For Art Journal Journey, collage and for 99 faces, I made a face, drawn very simply with black ink onto some printed cardstock. I kept the lines and colours to a minimum, too, and collaged some diamond shaped scraps and the journaling, which is a quote from Marcus Tullius Cicero. I let some yellow and green water colours run down over the face.
I didn't get round to showing my Tag Tuesday tags from the last 2 weeks, so here they are:

After all the rain the Rhine is full again, and the heron and ducks were looking for food. The heron always seems to get very irritated with the ducks who don't respect his space:

Sie ist so zauberhaft gemacht - wunderschön.. die Wasserfarbtropfen und all die kleinen Details im Hintergrund machen es so künstlerisch verspielt! Bravo.. und die Tags gefallen mir auch sehr gut, das obere besonders ! Die Schattenfotos sind toll, ich glaub ich würde nie auf die Idee kommen das zu fotografieren..ich versuch immer Schatten zu meiden - muss ich mal aus neuem Gesichtspunkt betrachten denke ich. Ich mag Deine schönen Vogelaufnahmen - ich bewundere Deine Geduld und dass Du ihren Vogelalltag so schön einfängst mit dem Fotoapparat!

Fabulous face and tag--love the flower and the shell dangle. I find shadows very interesting, too, as you may have noticed in the exhibits I showed.
ReplyDeleteI love it... to quote... "I made a face - drawn simply" - whew.... and here lies the talent Valerie.... simply drawing a face! Something I have yet to do!!! Of course, I love this face. I especially like her wispy hair lines and curl. The words behind her go perfect with the sentiment - interpreting! And your tags are gorgeous. The second one is wonderfully done - lots of work there with all the elements and texture and design. Such a lovely flower addition too. And because hubby plays the violin. BUT... the first one is my favorite for some reason. I like the variegated cardboard showing for the back and love that orangish swirl over the town - making it look like a whirlwind journey to go with the sentiment. Plus the color of the key/lock. It just strikes my fancy the most of the two!!! That one heron looks like he has a red heart over his head!!! The little birds are so colorful and pretty.And the street light - wow - that is such a neat picture and such pretty lights. These were all GREAT to see today Valerie. Hugs. j.
