I am also linking to Art Journal Journey, collage
I made 2 pieces. The first one is a hybrid piece and has a painted and crackled background
The gingerbread pair have been placed on an airmail envelope:
The stamp shows the mince-pies I made last year:
And I made a hybrid face using photos and eyes from one of my painted faces for 99 faces and Art Journal Journey, collage. If I counted right this is face 33. The fish is from Itkupilli.
Yesterday afternoon I had an appointment at the dentists's and walked home along the Rhine enjoying the wonderful sunset:
Destiny chugging towards the sunset:
Have a great day you all, take care,
and thanks a lot for coming by!
Beautiful artwork, love that textured background in the first piece. The photos are all so lovely as usual.
ReplyDeleteEven your pies look like works of art.....not to mention yummy.
ReplyDeleteI LOVE mince pies. I haven't had one since my grandmother died (grands raised me). I can still see the big square of beef suet that arrived in time for her to make the mince. Yours are simply delightful and artistic. And I like your new Moo theme, too.
ReplyDeleteYour latest face is fantastic. I'm always amazed at the faces you come up with, and this one is sea worthy.
Speaking of the sea, the River Rhine is especially lovely in the sunset. The backlit photos are gorgeous, but the tree captured my heart. Thanks for taking me on this walk home from your dentist's office. All fun and no pain!
Traumhaft schöne Arbeiten heute und herrliche Aufnahmen liebe Valerie!
ReplyDeleteWow.. Du bist schon bei Gesicht Nummer 33! Bravo!Da muss ich mich ranhalten...lol!

The whimsy of all your fun art projects brought a smile to my face. I also enjoyed my virtual walk with you through your photographs, especially the anchor/cross shot that you took. Thanks for your visit and blessings, my friend!

ReplyDeleteWow-interesting pieces today. The Santa one is really fun, and the face- wow. Those eyebrows and all the other features are really cool. I love your unique takes on your 99 faces in your challenge! Hope its a great day! Hugs!
ReplyDeleteI have fun thinking up different possibilities of making a face!
DeleteThe water is so peaceful! Just loving today's art share! Great take on the faces. Hope you have a wonderful Christmas! Hugs!
ReplyDeleteAs I scrolled down your blog today, I continued to smile at each project. This is a happy blog today with Santa and your outlandish FACE, I love it! I didn't leave a comment yesterday and admired the beautiful glass windows of the Basilica. Gorgeous photos and your journal page was exceptional. I missed out on the little cakes and was disappointed because I love cinnamon rolls. Enjoy your Moo Mania Christmas theme, I look forward to the next couple of weeks to open your blog. It is snowing here today.
ReplyDeleteHugs,
C
