Blue

Hi Everybody!

Another day has sped by, and I do not have much
to show for it.

For Art Journal Journey and 99 faces I have another A3 mixed media page, once again in blue. Recently I squeezed much too much paint out of the tube, and used the surplus to make several backgrounds, which accounts for my blue phase. I spritzed the page with some inks in blue, brown and white, sprayed water over it and watched it move, and I find the effects quite interesting. I drew  the face using a home made face template, and used water colours to add colour to her lips, eyes etc. I collaged some strips of old letters, a feather, some fibres and a couple of stars. The quote is from Dylusions and has also been collaged.

Some more photos of the wonderful sunset at the Rhine:

And the sunrise the day after:

Today was just wet, wet, wet all day, so didn't take any new photos.

Have a great day you all, take care,
and thanks a lot for coming by!

  9. I'm really enjoying your "blue period." The face is incredible, and the quote is SO, SO positive.

I can tell that winter has truly arrived in your area. There are no leaves on the trees, and the skies have taken on a decidedly winter feel. Beautiful to look at, as always.
