Monday Mix

Hi Everybody!

Here it is still very hot and humid, but we are hoping for some cooler weather from Tuesday on - I am looking forward to it! My apartment is just unbearably hot.

For Art Journal Journey, in my garden there is, I have a hybrid page. It was put together using a painted background,  a photo taken near here, and a digi stamp from Day for Daisies, which was hand coloured with Gelatos. And not to forget my balcony blackbird, who likes to be shown on lots of pages.

There must have been some rain in the night, because as the sun rose this morning, the fields were steaming:

Some pictures from my walk:

Goya was on the Rhine again:

This black beetle crossed my path:

The cormorant was watching out for fish:

I love this street by the Basilica:

And this is the first time I have seen red and white striped hollyhocks:

Have a great day, take care,
and thanks a lot for coming by!

  10. Wonderful page Valerie and you have used the little girl in such a beautiful way. A great mix of a lot of your techniques and hobbies I think.

Love the photographs and the ones at the end reminded me of how clean and litter free Germany is. I couldn't believe it when I was there on a visit.

Hope it gets a bit cooler soon for you--it is the same heat and sun here and I am looking forward to some cooler days and nights.

    Love Chrissie xx

  13. That foggy picture looks like how it is at my house this morning. I am glad I am going away to the cooler temperatures-it is suppose to be in the 90's (around 35) all week. And humid. I love today's piece. It is very sweet. How do you come up with these wonderful ideas? You have such a range. And great flower photos. Yvonne picked a great theme for July. I love it. Enjoy your week. Hugs-Erika
