Hi Everybody!
For Art Journal Journey, Journeys, the lovely theme chosen by Erika, I have a mixed media Paris spread made in my 'new' journal, which is almost full!
You still have a few days to join in the challenge!
The magpie pecks at the food so quickly it is hard to get a clear photo:
There are now 5 jays coming to feed:
The little tit (chickadee) likes to be fed:
I'm glad the cormorants don't expect me to supply them with food:
And the horses always seem to be happy.
Have a great weekend, take care,
and thanks a lot for coming by!
Love the very pretty journal page, and the bird parade is fantastic again. Hugs, Sarah
ReplyDeleteBoah was für eine beschwingte Doppelseite und all die herrlichen Vogelaufnahmen sind auch toll!
ReplyDeleteSchönen Samstag Valerie!

Have a great weekend.

Beautiful Paris spread for your journal. The photos of the birds are always a treat and the horses are the icing on the cake. I actually worked a little in the yard today, pulling weeds and trimming roses. It felt so good! Enjoy your weekend, Valerie.
ReplyDeleteHugs,

ReplyDeleteAh Paris. It is a magical city I hope to visit one day. Your journal spread makes it even more appealing to me.
You certainly have a way with birds. What fun to peruse your photos of them and how many you seem to attract and photograph. I hope your weekend is perfect. I'll probably be bailing water because we're under a flood warning until noon on Sunday.
Just been catching up on your wonderful posts with all the fab artwork and beautiful photographs.
ReplyDeleteWill email later.
Have a great day
Love Chrissie xx
Love your spread! It's so sweet. :)
ReplyDeleteA beautiful spread Valerie and lovely photos.
ReplyDeletexxx Hazel.
Such a gorgeous, simply lovely piece of work, Valerie. Absolutely perfect. Your little birdies seem to be enjoying themselves. No wonder -- they have indeed found a feast. My horses look well and happy. :o) hugs, Donna
ReplyDeleteWell you know I adore your Paris pages = ooh la laa!
ReplyDeleteAND your lovely Magpie too.
Here on the east coast of the U.S. we do not have Magpie's.
Thank you for sharing your nice nature pix liebe Valerie.

This is a gorgeous and fancy spread. So feminine. I really love it. It reminds me of Paris in the late 1800's, the belle epoch they call it, not that I was there, ha-ha. Have a wonderful weekend. Loved the bird photos too. :) Hugs-Erika
ReplyDeleteNor was I but I know what you mean!
DeleteBeautiful creatures of the world Valerie, and I just love your page tonight.xx
ReplyDeleteWhat a charming Parisian spread. The horses are lovely too xx
ReplyDeleteWhat lovely journal pages Valerie, love the softness about them....just gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteI love your journal pages - love Paris of course - but these pages are so much more! Love those photos! Hope you are having a great Saturday! Chrisxx
ReplyDeleteI love the piece it's perfect.
ReplyDeleteI've never seen a jay with that color. Fascinating.
The horses seem to be well cared for and happy.
Have a great weekend.
Hugs
The jays here all have this colouring, I know those in the States are different.
DeleteA beautiful art journal page. I love the vintage style you have created. I have been to Paris and it's very evocative of the city. C'est magnifique :-)
ReplyDeleteYour page is very pretty and so well balanced. I love its soft vintage vibe.
ReplyDeleteI don't think I have seen a magpie before. He is gorgeous.
hugs,
Teresa
Gorgeous Paris page Valerie, so beautiful and romantic! Love the soft stamping and the lovely florals! Great shots, that magpie is a new one for me, never seen one. Caught a photo of a cormorant a couple weeks ago, they are very rare to see here. hugs :)
ReplyDeleteAlthough I am not good with romantic makings - you are good - this is so soft and romantic. I guess that is how we all picture Paris. Well at least we used to!
ReplyDeleteI cannot get over the colors your camera captures with your bird pictures. I see your birds better than I saw my own!
