Tuesday Mix

Hi Everybody!

It's Tuesday again, which means it's time for Elizabeth's T stands for Tuesday.
I took a vintage photo and altered it to show Mr P, who has just come back from his afternoon walk, ready to sit down to tea with his two companions, Fido and Ginger. And Billy the budgie is there, too, making sure that everything is as it should be. A big hello to all the T gang!

But I must confess, my drink is cappuccino....

We are starting a new challenge at TIOT -
Spots, splashes and dots.
The challenge last for 2 weeks, and as always, projects of all formats
are welcome, as long as they fit the theme. I made a journal spread with splashes on the background, and Mr Umbrella man has gone completely dotty, but has a good message for us. Hope to see you at TIOT!
I am also linking to Art Journal Journey, journeys.

We have had wonderful warm and sunny weather, so I have been walking through shady paths, along by the river and by the stream, and admiring the trees and spring flowers in all their glory:

And this is our 'skyscraper'. It was originally built as a bomb shelter in the second world war, and has long since been converted to flats:

Have a great day you all, take care,
and thanks a lot for coming by!

  6. I am a black coffee drinker. No cream and no sugar. A few grains of salt if the coffee is to bitter but that is it.
Love the journal page. It sure demands your attention. Love it.
The photos are wonderful. Enjoy them tremendously.

    Love, Hugs and Blessings,
    Jim

  7. Mr. P is wonderful. I especially was drawn to the teapot and parakeet even before you detailed it. And I also thought the tea cup was simply beautiful.

Mr. Umbrella Man really gets around, doesn't he? He certainly is no stranger to those dots. I love how you used him as both a mask and a stencil. It's a wonderful double spread.

LOVED your skyscraper. It's a gem. So is your wonderful cappuccino and biscuits. That's my idea of a fun drink.

Thanks for sharing your beautiful art, your lovely cappuccino, and the gorgeous flowers and greenery with us for T this Tuesday. Your walk took you to beautiful places today.

  28. Yum! Capuccino and amaretti biscuits. That will do for me too, thank you very much.
I love your Mr P. Someone mentioned he is dapper. That's exactly the word I would have used. He reminds me a bit of Poirot, the Belgian detective. (but I don't think Poirot loves animals).
Thank you for taking us on your walk. The flowers and blossoms are beautiful. And that skyscraper! Fantastic. What a good way to hide an ugly bunker.
    Thank you for visiting,
    Happy T-day,
    Lisca

  34. Like so many others - I love Mr.P - I really, really like what you did with this make - the bits and pieces that are in color really add a new dimension to the page. Love it.
Bah humbug - I am a tea drinker.
I don't need to go dotty - I am already batty enough as it is!
Love your walk and I found the building that used to be a bomb shelter quite interesting.
