Hi Everybody!
Tomorrow we are starting a new challenge at TIOT -
Colourful.
As always, projects of all formats are welcome, and you
have 2 weeks to link to us.
I made an A3 Journal page using the stamp I made
recently, stamped with Archival black. The BG was
sprayed with my home-made acrylic sprays and
I added depth with various stencils. The
sentiment was hand-written. I am also linking
to Art Journal Journey, Chris' '101 ways to
keep warm' challenge - colours make you warm!

Tuesday is also Elizabeth's T stands for Tuesday, so here
a hearty welcome to all of the nice ladies of the
T Gang. My buddy G recently bought this lovely bottle
of wine. I haven't drunk it yet, I will drink it with my
friend N together, as it was meant for both of us. But I
will definitely be saving the gorgeous label for crafting!
Last week I made a mandarin orange / sour cream cake.
It was eaten before I got round to taking a photo,
so here is one from the net:
And I have some more pics from the Aquazoo:
I wonder whose legs got into the aquarium?
Some models of tiny, underwater creatures:
My personal highlights were the penguins:
Taken on the way home last week:
Have a great day, take care,
and thanks a lot for coming by!

ReplyDeleteReally enjoyed the process of seeing your hand-made stamp and its use on your page. The warm colors you chose are so bright and cheery. The wine lable is so cool. Will be interested to see what you do with it. Enjoy the wine with your friend. I love the penguins, too, especially the little guy at the back marching to the beat of his own waddle. I'm so glad I don't have to rake all those leaves. Happy T Day
ReplyDeleteWow so much so see here :) Love the colourful background to set off your fabulous hand carved stamp image. The wine label is very beautiful and that cake looks so tasty. Fantastic photographs as well, the Penguins are cute. Take care xx

You carved that stamp, Valerie? She's wonderful and makes great focal point for your page.
ReplyDeleteYour mandarin sour cream cake sounds delicious. I enjoyed your pictures from the Aquazoo, especially the penguins. But who doesn't love penguins?
Happy T-day! Hugs, Eileen
Beautiful warm AJJ page. The wine looks warm too! The cake must've been good. Enjoyed your photos today. No raking necessary in the woods I guess.
ReplyDeleteI love the cheery rainbow colours you used on your page and that homemade stamp is amazing! The cake and wine looks delicious and I can't wait to see what you create with that beautiful wine label either 😁. The penguins made me smile as did the stunning autumn scenery! Wishing you a Happy T Day! J 😊
ReplyDeleteI love the latest journal page made with your stamp. Colorful is a great new challenge and you hit the nail on the head with that page. :) And that is a gorgeous wine bottle label. When I buy wine it is always because of the labels. Your dessert looks like it was yummy. Is it like a cheesecake? I love seeing more of the aquatic critters too. Sounds like a great place to visit. Happy T day. Hugs-Erika
ReplyDeleteLove the new penguin header! Your stamp carving is fab and you made a most wonderful, colorful page with it. I do like some riojas but have had some not so good ones either. need to learn more about them. Great visit to the aquazoo-I know I would love it too! Happy T day!
ReplyDeleteYay for penguins!!! :)
ReplyDeleteThat aquazoo looks like a nice place to visit. I think I would like it there, too. And you also got nice photos of the lovely autumn scenery. The colorful leaves are so beautiful.
I also liked the colors in your journal page. And I like the overall softness of the page as well.
Happy T-Day! --Denise :)
Your painting is beautiful! I love all the colors. And that piece of orange cake looks so yummy!
ReplyDeleteHappy Tea Day,
Kate
Fabulous post, fish, food, wine, cake oh gosh what else can one ask for.xxx[aNNie]🎄
ReplyDeleteMy keyboard is having a PMS hissy fit today, and refuses to work much of the time. I would LOVE to leave you a personal message like you are used to from me, but it took nearly 30 minutes to write my last message. Fortunately, my mouse still works well, so I can copy and paste this generic message to you. So, I will just wish all my U. S. friends a very happy Thanksgiving and EVERYONE a very happy T Tuesday.
ReplyDeleteWhat a treat of a post! First Thank you so much for this fabulous AJJ entry - I love this hand carved stamp and the colours are certainly brightening a dull day day here! The label on the wine is gorgeous - hope you can get it off successfully! Your cake does look delicious! Once again the Aqua zoo photos are fabulous - I love the model with the fancy 'hairdo'! Finally that carpet of leaves - WOW! Happy T day! Chrisx
ReplyDeleteI enjoyed seeing your new banner. It was only after I read the rest of your post I saw the relevance.
ReplyDeleteI am mightily impressed with your home made stamp. I remember doing things like that in art classes at school. (long ago). Yours is amazing!
The pictures of the aquarium are beautiful. Well done you, as taking pictures through glass is notoriously difficult. I find the tiny creatures fascinating. And I love the penguins too of course.
Autumn colours of the most warm kind. Beautiful.
And your cake looks delish. I'm sure yours looked just like that. I have recipes for cakes made with sour cream, but we can't buy it here. Do you think it would work with yoghurt and perhaps adding a dash of lemon juice to increase the acidity? I love cheese cakes, but we can't even get kwark here. (But I can get Mascarpone, yumm!)
You are right, that label on the bottle is beautiful. The wine itself I think you will enjoy drinking it with your friend.
Happy T-Day,
Lisca
You could use mascarpone, that would taste great! Or a mix of yogurt and cream? I'm all for experimenting!
DeleteThat is one fabulous stamp you made! I love her!
ReplyDeleteYour cake looks delish no wonder it went so fast! heehee
Thank you for sharing your underwater photos!
Hugs,Jackie

ReplyDeleteI'd be tempted to buy that wine for the label alone. Gorgeous design. I enjoy aquaria, and it looks like the place you went has huge displays. Y'all are getting great fall color this year. Happy T Tuesday!

Another great page with your hand made stamp, it really does lend itself to a colourful background. Your pictures from the Aquarium look fabulous and carpet of autumnal leaves looks so beautiful. The cake looks so delicious, shame it didn't last long.
