Hi Everybody!
For Tag Tuesday, Sandie's lovely book-print challenge,
I have a tag made from recycled materials. I cut the little
dolls free-hand from book paper, and then sewed the
layers together. The ribbon was affixed
with some fancy staples.
For Chris' lovely '101 ways to keep warm' challenge
I have a hybrid piece, using elements from Serif and me.
The photos show my Mum on the
right and me on the left. Memories make my heart warm!
Some photos from the Rhine:
Misty mornings:
Ducks and geese in Hofgarten:
Sunrise in Technicolor:
Have a great day, take care,
and thanks a lot for coming by!
Paper dolls take me back to my youth!

ReplyDeleteI was SO touched by the AJJ entry. You were such a beautiful baby and your mother was, too. Of course, I really loved the tag and the dolls you cut from a book page. And of course, I always love your sewing.
ReplyDeleteI was surprised that some ducks were banded while most were not. The sunset was fabulous and really red and rich. Hope your day is going great. I'm still trying to get this Firefox problem corrected. I'm sure it was something I clicked on that did this to me.
They do counts of the ducks/geese in the parks, and the banded ones are those which have been recorded, the others are evidently visitors. Sorry about your browser.
