Hi Everybody!
Tomorrow we are beginning a new challenge at
Tag Tuesday, and our lovely Wendy will be hosting for the
next 2 weeks. Her theme is
*anything goes - include some lime green*
As always, you have 2 weeks to link to us, and
tags of all formats are welcome.
I made a tag using a Sizzix
gingerbread-man die and some candy-striped DP.
As always, a little bit of sewing was used to hold
the layers together. A friend visited today, and liked
the tag, so now it has a new home:
Today is also Elizabeth's T stands for Tuesday,
so here a warm welcome to all of the nice ladies
of the T gang.
This is the nice cake-breakfast we enjoyed at the indoor
ski resort. G had the latte and the apple cake, the
cappuccino and mixed fruit delight were mine!
The plates are decorated with edelweiss flowers:
Some more photos of the 'alpine village', showing more
of the restaurants and bars:
Have a great day, take care,
and thanks a lot for coming by!
Nice tag and super photos! Happy T-Day!
ReplyDeleteLove your fun tag, great idea with the gingerbread man and the photos are fantastic. The kids all have runny noses again, never a dull minute! Hugs, Sarah
Lieben Gruss Elke
Such an adorable tag. I don't think I'd be able to part with it. Nice to know it went to a good home. Oh my those cakes look amazing, and the Edelweiss plates are so pretty. I had to laugh when I saw the picture with the Eingang sign. When I was in high school I went on a trip to Germany. Some friends and I got lost in Munich and were trying to find our way back to the hotel. Someone asked what street we were looking for. I remembered seeing a sign so I said Eingang Strasse One way! Too funny. Thanks for the memory and have a Happy t Day
ReplyDeleteLovely stitched gingerbread man piece. The apple cake looks yummy and the alpine resort photos are really nice!

ReplyDeleteSuch a jolly tag, hope it likes its new home o)
ReplyDeleteYummy looking cake and more amazing photos! What a place.....
Its a really sweet fun tag, I loved the stripes in the background and can see it will be loved in its new home.
ReplyDeleteGreat photos, how many restaurants does the ski resort have? It would be hard to choose I think although the one with the white table wear does look rather posh and maybe expensive.
Both the cake slices looked delicious and the crockery is so pretty.
Happy T day wishes Valerie.
Yvonne xx

ReplyDeleteI really enjoyed the tag. It is lovely, and I can see why a friend would want it. I know it must have gone to a good home.
ReplyDeleteYour alpine village photos are wonderful today. It looks like there were all kinds of restaurants, some very fancy ones, some upscale, and some where you could just sit and relax while "people watching." Thanks for sharing all the lovely restaurants and more of the slope area, as well as your cappuccino and fruit cake (and G's latte and apple cake) with us for T this Tuesday.
Your tag is brilliant and can see why it is now in a new home! The ski place looks far superior to the one near here! We are going to visit soon but I think you will see - it is quite a fast food sort of place! Love the look of both drinks and food here! Happy T day! Chrisx
