Hi Everybody!
For Art Journal Journey, light and darkness, and for
I have another hybrid/mixed media piece, using 2 different
backgrounds merged together digitally, an image from LaBlanche
and some digi stars from Serif.
Today I was able to enjoy a beautiful sunset, as I
walked home along the Rhine:
Today I am sharing more 20th century art from the K20:
Robert Rauschenberg:
(This collage is HUGE!)
John Chamberlain:
Roy Lichtenstein:
Morris Lewis:
Andy Warhol's portrait of Joseph Beuys:
Franz Kline
Have a great day, take care,
and thanks a lot for coming by!
Interesting art pieces today. It gets dark very early now, lovely sunset photos and a gorgeous page for AJJ!
ReplyDeleteIndeed, it was dark at 4pm today.
DeleteLove your beautiful art as always, and the sunset photos are beautiful. Great art from the museum, too. Hugs, Sarah
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely art piece! I love the photos along the Rhine too.
ReplyDeleteI enjoyed the art you created today. I especially liked the white collar emphasis.
ReplyDeleteYour sunset photos are superb. I noticed you said it gets dark around 4 pm. For me, sunset was 5:16 pm yesterday. By the time we got to the restaurant, it was already black out. And it was only 6:00ish.
Your latest K20 pieces are fascinating. As always, I greatly appreciate each one you share with us. That must be a truly fascinating museum.
Fantastic merging of your pages and the sunset is gorgeous. The art photos are very interesting. Take care, Shirleyxx
ReplyDeleteA fabulous sunset. And I really love today's piece. Very -- is it Magritte? Who did the Bowler guy? I love it!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful sunset colours and today's work of art is just pure fabulous.xx
ReplyDeleteThe white collar made me think of Civil Servants and their approach to light-in-our-darkness, viz: "The light at the end of the tunnel has been switched off in the interests of economy."
ReplyDeleteToo true, I must remember that one!
DeleteSehr interessante Exponate zu Deiner einmalig schönen Arbeit und den schönen Sonnenstandsfotos!

A wonderful page Valerie, the backgrounds merged look awesome. men in bowler hats do make make me think of bankers, very posh folk. Up north here they would be given quite a stare if seen walking around in those hats.
ReplyDeleteLoved the sunset photos and the ones from the gallery.

In London there were always loads of bowler hats around, we kids used to laugh at them!
DeleteThis piece is great. It has a James Bond feel to it.
ReplyDeleteIsn't that Andy Warhol painting something?
You have a good one, my friend.
Hugs
Yes, it's very dramatic.
DeleteWow megaklasse diese Lichtseite, gefällt mir außerordentlich gut und die Sonnen-Fotos passen von der Farbstimmung perfekt dazu. Auch die große Kunstcollage ist genau mein Fall. Alles wieder erste Sahne.
ReplyDeleteLiebe Grüße
Sabine
