More this and that for Saturday

Hi Everybody!

It's weekend - enjoy!

For Art Journal journey, light and darkness, I have another hybrid piece:

(Digital elements from Mischief Circus and Serif.)

Yesterday I visited the Hetjens museum in the Altstadt (old town),
directly by the old customs harbour. They have a wonderful
collection of ceramic and porcelain.

Here the view from the ground floor to the harbour:

Outside I found a gull who eagerly shared the remains
of my breakfast:

There were great views of the Altstadt from the upstairs windows:

This piece was near the entrance:

This is a Russian piece showing King Solomon:

I love the African ceramic lion-head:

I will show more pictures of all the wonders to be seen there
when I have sorted them. On the way home I passed through the
square in front of the Town Hall, and got a good shot
of the Christmas Market, the town hall and the Big Wheel:

Have a great day, take care
and thanks  lot for coming by!

  1. Lovely journal page with the beautiful lantern, and thanks for sharing the photos. They are all good, but the ones with the gull and ship are my faves today. I remember going to that museum many years back, but I think they have enlarged it in the meantime. Hugs, Sarah

  6. That lantern is beautiful. I wish I knew digital art, because you make some of the most wonderful art that way.

Loved the Hetjens museum and the ceramics and porcelain. So much different than the glass. Yo8u have some incredible museums that are all centrally located.

What a fantastic final shot of the wheel, the Christmas market, the town hall, and the carousel!
