Hi Everybody!
Hope you all had a good start in the new month.
For Art Journal Journey, inspired by autumn colours, I have a hybrid piece to show today. The background has been painted and then scanned. The nude is also one of my drawings, and the horse is a photo, which I changed to blue as I thought of Franz Marc. The armchair, birds and head are digital additions.
For Elisabeth's '2nd on the 2nd' I am re-showing a face made for autumn some years back. It was drawn with India ink, and coloured with prismalos and a water pen. I am also linking to Kim Dellow's 'Show your face'
The horse's red coat makes a nice contrast to the trees.

The horse in the field with the trees in the background is beautiful, and I was struck by how many leaves were around the bench at the Rhine.

DeleteWow- your collage is fantastic. I think the blue horse does make it-gives a bit of a fantasy style while still being quite realistic. Does that sound weird? If so, ignore, I am down with a bad head cold. And I love your face drawing-it is perfect for right now isn't it? I always love how you manage to make faces with such cool and unusual hair. It never looks forced-always natural. Hope your Monday is going well.
