Weekend Post!

Hi Everybody,
It's weekend - enjoy!

First of all I have a piece for Erika's 'it's on the calendar' challenge at AJJ. I found an old piece of designer paper, which gave me a good background. I added the stenciled faces, lots of colours and numbers and more....

And I have a face painted this week using mostly pastel colours, I just wanted to try something different!

And some thinkies and funnies:

I love this one!

Have a great weekend, take care,
And thanks a lot for coming by!

  3. What a fabulous fun piece Valerie with the numbers and faces and I adore the face art, her hair is gorgeous with the leaves and shapes, just lovely, and I nearly choked on my crumpet reading about sex at 73...sooooo funny..

  4. Wonderful page. Lovely colors on the goddess. She's making me think of Spring and taking my mind off the snowstorm expected this weekend.

  8. Oh you had some wonderful art today. I love your AJJ page. What cool background paper. Your face is lovely too. The colors make me think of spring. I wish it was warm so I could open all the windows and blow some fresh in and covid viruses out. Too bad about Heiki and your other friend too. Yup, it can only get better. I want to make some art, but as of yet, laying on the couch sounds better. Have a great weekend, and thanks for sharing your page at AJJ. hugs-Erika

  13. Good morning, Valerie. I am very sorry to hear that Heike is in the hospital. Please give her my very best wishes and the hopes for a speedy recovery so that the two of you can resume your sausage snacking together. I am sure we are all very grateful that you let us know about your experiences at 73. We will all now be looking for the appropriate house on our street! Your art today, as always is high class stuff, and the pastel lady is nothing if not intriguing, imbued with an air of mystery. And this is only when you are fooling around with colour. Maybe she goes to 73. You think? Some great humour today. The one about the cell phone is a classic. Just imagine, go back about thirty years and no one would have known what you were talking about. Have a great weekend, hugs and kisses - David

    1. Yes, David, look for your next 73, ring the bell and see what happens! I'm at 81....not far! I got my first cell phone in 1965, it was so exciting. And in the meantime some people have them glued to their hands. It's possible that babies will soon be downloaded with built in chargers and phones, that would be something! Glad you like my new paintings, I am having a blue and yellow phase. It will pass. Have a great weekend, BIG hugs! xxxxxxxx
