Midweek post

Hi everybody!
Hope you are all doing well!
At the moment I am joining in a free 5 day course from Sue Young from Sujatti Studio. This was our lesson yesterday - an autumn face. I need to do a few tweaks still, but I had fun with this:

And I have a tag for Sandie's 'A form of Transport' challenge at Tag Tuesday:

And some autumn photos from previous years:

Have a great day, take care,
And thanks a lot for coming by!

  5. You're having lots of fun with these classes. I like this face and even better, I like how you added leaves to her hair. Perhaps she was jumping in leaf piles and has never brushed out the debris. :) Fall is such an inspiring time, isn't it? I hope you're having a lovely week. hugs-Erika

  9. Liebe Valerie,
    Alles Liebe, Traude

  11. A five-day course! That’s like going back to school! The only five courses I want are those that might appear on my plate at a fancy restaurant someone takes me too. Are you available with your credit card at the ready? The faces you are creating are smashing, however. I am very happy to see the fungi in your local forests and woodlands. For some reason they seem to have been particularly sparse in these parts and they are such a lovely party of the autumnal landscape. That little Robin is sure puffed up against the cold, so I take it that the weather has not been entirely kind where you live. Here is it ridiculous, Valerie. Yesterday 20 degrees and it’s almost November. It’s very pleasant for humans, but not a good augury I fear, as day after day new temperature records are set. Last evening we took Roddie, our twelve-year old birding buddy down to Long Point for the annual Saw-whet Owl migration, but nary an owl was moving last night and we returned home without seeing a single bird. It’s a four-hour round trip too. When we got to Josh’s house, however, on the way home a possum ambled across the street for us, so that made us all very happy. Doesn’t take much to please us! Hugs and kisses - David

    1. Hi David! Sorry you didn't get to see an owl, I hope Roddie was not too disappointed. But you did see a possum, so that's good. Shame that we don't have them here!
I love these free lessons, I always learn a lot when I watch them, and get lots of new ideas, that's good.
I just had my lunch here, a delicious home made veggie soup, and there's enough for tomorrow, too. Yummy! If I come over and invite you to dinner I will have my credit card ready, don't worry. But please no lobster or caviar, I don't like them at all!
I'm stopping home for the rest of the day, it's cold, very windy and raining non stop. For our climate all beneficial!
Have a great day. Take care, hugs xxxxxxx
