Weekend Post

Hi Everybody!

Here's wishing us all a wonderful weekend! Enjoy! I'm planning on having a good rest, this week has left me very exhausted.

Today I am sharing a piece for Wendy's vintage challenge at AJJ:

I love the elegant clothes these ladies are wearing:



 The weather has been very changeable this week, from warm and sunny to cold and wet, so on average you could say everything was normal, and Blogger changed the order of the pics again - it is as it is!

    What a fun piece. I always love your silhouette work. Odd about the photos. I suppose I've never had that issue because I put them all at the top of the post and then move them around to where I want them. I can see where it would be frustrating.

    I really LOVE your journal page. It is beautiful and the ladies in silhouette look so elegant, too. What a great addition to Wendy's theme at Art Journal Journey.

    Beautiful horse shots and great photo of the hollyhocks mixed in with the moody sky shots. I really hope you get some rest this weekend and don't have too much else than that on your plate, dear.

    Was für ein romantische Seite, ich liebe es deine Arbeitenzu diesem Thema!
    Deine Fotos sind auch so schön.... das Wetter hat mir leider einen Hexenschuss geliefert und seit 2 Tagen kann ich nur das notwendigsten tun aber es wird besser schon. Das Wetter ist so herbstlich bei uns auch wenn es Nacht nicht os kalt ist. Müde macht es und die Knochen und alles spürt der Körper, ich kann mir vorstellen wie es dir geht, wenns mir shcvon so ergeht gerade. Ruhe dich gut aus und geniesse dein Sofa.
    Schönes Wochenende wünsche ich dir und pass auf dich auf!

      Danke, liebe Elke! Ein Hexenschuss ist nicht lustig, ich hoffe dein Rücken ist bald besser - viel Wärme und Ruhe tun gut. Hier fühlt sich auch sehr herbstlich an heute, grau und kalt, und genau richtig für zuhause sein mit eine warme Decke über die Beine! Dir ein schönes Wochenende, gute Besserung und Alles Liebe!

    Elegant ladies. I could never wear those fashions being short and round. Beautiful photos. Especially the corner of the house with the blue shutters and pink hollyhocks. Stunning. My cat, Mitty, used to like relaxing under the shade of the broad hollyhock leaves. Enjoy the weekend.

    Lovely photographs and such elegantly sleek horses - like your ladies. I love how the fashion of that time is always portrayed on slim ladies. It's an era I like for fashion, even those cloche hats look good on most of them.
    Love how you have portrayed them with that background and the flowers.
