  6. I like the beautiful page with the lady on the swing. Nice close up shot of the Canadian Geese and butterfly. Yesterday, I was trying to take a snapshot of a beautiful butterfly but it was too fast for me.

  9. Well, nobody can deny that is Vintage. What a lovely page you have put together there Valerie. I love the little cherubs atop the lady on the swing. That calendar cover sits well on top of the lovely background that has some nice script on it.
    Love the photos of the birds, the heron and the bad hair day especially - you must have a super camera to capture them so closely.

    1. Thanks Neet, I loved this image as soon as I saw it, so light and carefree. The tree where the birds sit in is about 100 yards from my balcony, so I zoom them in, and can observe the birds without disturbing them. Have a great day, stay safe, hugs!

    I love your latest tag, too. I think it's awesome and of course, I love anything recycled.

    Two favorite photos today are the swan and the farmer with the bales of hay in the field. thanks for taking us with you on your walk. Hope you are feeling better.

  15. This latest page is wonderful Valerie. It is definitely bringing me back to spring or summer. The calendar addition is a great embellishment. I also love your tag. It has a bit of street edginess to it. I've got a tag which I'll either post Thursday or Friday, Was just letting it have a bit of a dry. And wonderful photos. Bad hair day made me smile, and you caught a bee along with your butterfly. Hope your week is going well. Hugs-Erika

  27. I just checked my email for the day and saw your article. That is really interesting. I didn't know bees wouldn't cross large bodies of water. I had to even look up where Baltrum was located. I bet that is quite the sight on the ship with all those boxes of queens. Very cool. Thanks so much for sharing it with me. Much much appreciated!   31. How sweet are those cherubs holding the swing, lovely old vintage design with it's watercolour vibe. Like the new Tag Tuesday them too, you've made good use of those recycled materials, great image is it a stamp??

    1. Oh yes, I can relate to bad hairday, I have fine and rather frizzy hair, horrible! The image was cut from a magazine, but I have a similar one, it was just too big for the tag!
