Hi Everybody!
This week is flying faster than I can move!
For Elizabeth's 'Summertime love' theme at Art Journal Journey
I made a quick mixed media journal page:
I am also linking to Paint Party Friday, hosted as always by Eva and Kristin
For Joan's 'beach' theme at Tag Tuesday I have a 9"
mixed media tag. The images were stamped onto a scrap of
painted paper and coloured with gelatos. The water and bulls-eyes of
the ships were glazed with liquid glass.
The beach was sewed,
and the bathing belle is an image from Gecko Galz. I sewed various mats together to complete the background:
And I have more photos of Zons.
These little watch-towers along the walls are called 'pepper-pots'.
The sign on the wall tells about the well that was a
necessity in the days before plumbing and water-pipes:
Sabine braved the steps to the pepper-pot:
This little shop had some interesting things outside:
'Fall down, get up, straighten your crown, carry on'
The Judde Tower, used as a prison for many years:
The Mill Tower:
More photos to follow!
Have a great day, take care,
and thanks a lot for coming by!

More windmills! Keep 'em coming. Love both the art pieces but that one with the lighthouse especially draws me in. I don't know if it's the line art or the colors but it's beautiful. What a fun spot to visit with all those cute shops! Could be trouble if it was me there!
