Hi Everybody!
After the relatively mild weather we had these last weeks
today was cold, grey and damp, brrr!
For Art Journal Journey, Susi's theme of collage with a twist, I have a 'nightmare' collage, reminiscent of those strange dreams we sometimes have where nothing is quite as it
should be....

There seem to be more leaves on the ground than on the trees,
and today they made a squelchy and slippery mess underfoot.
I enjoyed seeing the last of the leaves and berries :

ReplyDeleteYikes - that would be some dream - still smiling!! We have had a cold day too -we went off to the cinema (cheaper tickets and a free coffee!) to see Ben Hur. Had to pick up my GD afterwards. I love your photos of the last of the pretty leaves - we have noticed a similar thing here after a damp weekend! There are still plenty of trees with green leaves left! Hugs, Chrisx

ReplyDeleteI'm seeing that nightmare as I watch the election returns tonight. But my nightmare is very real and I'm awake. Your collage is truly beautiful. I really like how you put it all together.
ReplyDeleteThe leaves are still on my tree, but it is going to be very cold overnight. They are predicting a frost, so I'll need to get my plants/herbs inside soon. Your trees are showing a true autumn, and the leaves have definitely fallen. Even your photos look cold as I view them from my screen. Hope your day is going better than mine will.

DeleteWhat an amazing page today with so many things that would appear in dreams for no reason we can understand. I often think I will write down things I encounter in dreams but I have never manage to do that yet.

Well you've certainly gotten our attention with today's art. I love it and I think that of late my dreams have been as varied and confusing as this. Beautiful fall photos today. We had clear blue skies today with bright sunshine but cooler temps.
