Hi Everybody!
For Susi's theme of collage with a twist at Art Journal Journey
I have another hybrid page. The orange background is part of a page in my 2nd new journal, placed onto a water colour background with a filter. Then I collaged the headless lady and the text, the blue something in place of her head is part of the background. The digital bits are from Mischief Circus.
Yesterday afternoon the wind chased the clouds across the sky:
And this lovely sunrise welcomed me when I got up this morning:
On my walk I saw some strange fungi:
These ones look like gone-off yeast dumplings:
Most of the trees have lost nearly all of their leaves:
The bridge is good 20 minutes walk away, but I zoomed it in
and it looks like it's right here:
Have a great day, take care,
and thanks a lot for coming by!
It's that fungi time of year! Nice photos and 'faceless' page today!
ReplyDeleteDie Figur macht sich traumhaft in dieser fabelhaft schönen Umgebung - die Farben herrlich und die Schrift gefällt mir auch super dazu!
ReplyDeleteTolle Herbstbilder... meine Güte was für eigenartige Pilze... uuuu!
Einen guten Wochenstart wünsch ich Dir schon mal!
Liebe Grüße
Susi
Wonderful and fun journal page, love the strong colours. Great photos, too, and those dumpling fungi look like something dead and decaying - really yucky! Have a good start in the new week, hugs, Sarah
ReplyDeleteLovely art page. I also love those geese on your header!
ReplyDeleteLove / Believe / Magic - such great words and treats. Wonderful sky photos and the fungi are truly interesting. I can never walk past those weird ones without taking a photo. The trees around here look about the same. Last week's winds took a lot of leaves away.
ReplyDeleteA real fun figure of the headless lady, its a wonderful journal spread.
ReplyDeleteLoved the sunrise photos, though the fungi looks a bit suspect.

Sabine
Great new header Valerie. I love it. And its a really interesting page today. Almost feels a little like Halloween with the faceless body. :) And I find it amazing how November looks so different from October. I love the bridge photo today. Hope it was a great weekend. Hugs-Erika
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful and dynamic header! Your sunrise photo stopped me and the fungi was intriguing. I love to see what is in your world each week.

You find the best images to use for your digital collages. This one is almost spooky.
ReplyDeleteThose leaves at the base of those trees make me wish our leaves turned colors other than brown. These are stunning reds, oranges, and yellows. You took gorgeous photos, and that bridge is incredible. Some of the fungi looked like scoops of ice cream, but also dumplings. Hope your Monday is wonderful.
When I posted my comment, your new blog header came up. Seems those geese are everywhere, even on your blog header. Love how they are holding that banner/bunting.
ReplyDeleteHmm, the blog header has been there since Saturday!
DeleteWonderful page I think I will be laughing at that image all day. Fabulous new header as well.
ReplyDeleteTerrific photographs-the fungi ones look like someone dropped their ice cream. My favourite is the lady with the bicycle and the wonderful things surrounding her centre stage. Wonder who owned the other bike that is laid down? Help I've fallen in the water moment.
Have a great day
Love Chrissie xx
Terrific page loving the bursts of colour and the river views are as wonderful as ever. XOXO
ReplyDeleteYour colourful AJJ piece is terrific. Great new header too, looks so fresh and that's a sweet bunting.
ReplyDeleteAs ever your photographs are wonderful, I always love the sky ones.
A fabulous page Valerie! I forgot to mention your clever geese yesterday - a great header for sure! I love your photos and I am most impressed by your zoom - I only have a little 'Coolpix' camera…or my phone camera! I leave the long shots to hubby! The fungi does look fascinating! Hugs, Chrisx
ReplyDeleteWow what a fun, windy walk.
ReplyDeleteYou must have a great camera to catch that bridge.
Love the background of your piece.
Your AJJ piece is fabulous Valerie - and a bit sc-fi-ish - reminded me of a DR Who episode.
ReplyDeleteGreat photos - especially the fungi and the clouds.

Hi Valerie, I sure love your Monday Mix. Beautiful piece!! Great walking photos and that fungi is incredible. Lovely sky shots too. Your header is beautiful. Love it.
ReplyDeleteHave a great new week. xo
Your AJJ page is really funny...I think. It has been fun to see how everybody is avoiding faces....LOL
ReplyDeleteGlorious sun rise photo.
Some of the fungi look like melted marshmallows that got left too close to the fire pit.
wow love your art, just pops off the page, love seeing your little slice of home as well
ReplyDeleteLovely page - so colourful! Great photos too and I love the thought of the wind chasing clouds across the sky, it makes me smile :-). Have a great week! J :-)
ReplyDeleteYour use of color takes my breath away. This is just stunning -- those blues and oranges. Fabulous!
ReplyDeleteWow I love this, the colours are amazing. I don't fancy the fungi though! xx
ReplyDeleteLove the faceless art today ♥ I haven't noticed mush fungi this late in the season but we have been extremely dry. It did rain last night ans is suppose to off and on all day so maybe I'll see some now. Mini and I got soaked on our morning walk this am. She didn't like it and I agree with her.
ReplyDeleteValerie, your art is so cool! I love it! Beautiful photos! Very peaceful!
ReplyDeleteWOW!! Gorgeous colors!!! Valerie, I have to admit, your headless lady is a bit creepy! heeheee
ReplyDeleteLovely photos, so full of Autumn!
hugs,Jackie
