Hi Everybody!
Today I have my traditional collage of most of the pages I
made for Art Journal Journey, Collage
(Some of them are hiding in a folder I can't find!)
It was a fun month, and on Thursday our new challenge
will be starting, so come by and read all about it!

It was a fun month, and on Thursday our new challenge
will be starting, so come by and read all about it!
And at Moo Mania and More our new challenge
starts today -
-Tea and or coffee-
Bet you can guess which one I chose for my collage!
I love starting my day with a mug of frothy coffee,
and my 'happiness' mug is my fave one.
As always, you have 2 weeks to link to us,
and projects of all formats are welcome:
And here some photos from the inside of the tower - shown yesterday-
where the ship's museum is. I have lots more photos of the
great models, will show them another time:
This shows the ancient boat that was discovered here in Kaiserswerth a few years back. It is still being restored:
I loved the vaulted cellar, under the level of the Rhine:
I wonder where this leads to?
It was a bit like being in a lighthouse or windmill.
Have a great day, take care,
and thanks a lot for coming by!
Wonderful collage, you made a lot last month, one piece lovelier than the other. And I love the piece you made today, with coffee beans around the sun! Great photos of the museum. Thanks for sharing. Hugs, Sarah
ReplyDeleteBeautiful showcase my friend. Sorry I have missed some of your work, this jolly virus has knocked me for a sixer, so commenting while I am feeling ok..xx
ReplyDeleteHow wonderful to see your art together like that and the coffee piece is great. I love the photos you took too.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful collage and I love your favourite mug and contents! Interesting photos inside the museum, thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteI always enjoy your end of the month collage. It was a fun month. Wish I hadn't been so pre-occupied with the hubby to have time to make more pieces. And the maritime museum looks really cool. The hubby loves those kinds of museums so I seem to go to a lot of them. I also think the architecture of the rooms is pretty cool too. :) Hugs-Erika
ReplyDeleteThe photos of the ship models are incredible. I was overwhelmed by the various designs. Being an engineer, I thought some of these were simply out of this world and designed so well. I appreciate the photos more than you will know. I feel like I was there with you.
ReplyDeleteYour end of the month collage is always fun to see. I always enjoy it. And we both know what I will choose for Moo Mania and More. I am so glad AEDM is over, so I can join a few more challenges in December.
Great collage which has a great deal to say.
ReplyDeleteThe Maritime Museum is interesting ... many strange craft. I particularly liked the barge in full-sail, with a good view of the leeboard: like a fin on its side. Thames barges had those boards too, and although the Dutch always claim them it's an old Chinese invention.
What an amazing collage of collages Valerie. I always love to see them all together.
ReplyDeleteYour Happiness mug is wonderful and I can see why it it is your favourite. Nice shape as well.
Oh a Ship Museum full of wonderful things to see. It all looks so clean and spacious as well. The wooden models are so beautiful.
Have a great day
Love Chrissie xx
Happiness is for sure is the first drink of the day. Your coffee page looks fabulous.

Hi Valerie! Fabulous collection, I love seeing them all together like that. Sorry I've been so scarce, November has been a bit challenging for me. I won't be able to get caught up on everything, but I shall scan through today and see what you've been up too. sending hugs :)
ReplyDeleteHi Valerie. I just wanted to stop back in and say how sorry I am to hear about your Lupus flaring up. My Mom has the same nasty illness so I'm familiar with how crippling it can sometimes be. Please know that I'm thinking of you and sending out all my best healing hugs into the universe for you. Thank you for your kind words about Bon Jovi, it's true, it did hit me hard. I've not picked up my camera since. Have a great day today my friend :)
ReplyDeleteThanks for the kind words!
DeleteFascinating place.
ReplyDeleteLoved the piece:)

What an amazing collection of your work. I really loved seeing what you did with this month's challenge and was particularly struck by the silhouettes. (I know -- I said this in another post but I really am!)
