Hi Everybody!
For Art Journal Journey, Susi's collage theme,
I have a mixed media/hybrid collage. I made my men very grungy after
cutting them from a collaged and painted piece,
and added some extra blobs and splats.
The alphas are from Serif.
I snapped the twinkling lights of the airport and the first light
of the sun early this morning from my window:
The raven was waiting for me to dish up his breakfast:
And Here are a few more photos from the
wonderful glass museum:
An Art Nouveau Window:
Have a great day, take care,
and thanks a lot for coming by!
I love the colors of your art piece, the blues with the lighter colors are so lovely. Your photographs are wonderful too.

Marvelous grungy fellas. Like the inky blots too. Blown glass is pretty but nothing compared to that window. Xox
ReplyDeleteYes, it is wonderful, I stood and looked at it for ages.
DeleteOh my gosh, that glass is wondrous.
ReplyDeleteYour grunge guys are fun:)
Hugs,
Wonderful page Valerie and great idea to make the men look different with the splashes and splatters.
ReplyDeleteLovely to see the lights of the airport as my daughter lands there quite often and even arrived there myself years ago. Not as splendid as it looks when you show it these days.
The glass museum is just amazing with so many very beautiful items to admire.
Thank you for sharing everything
Love Chrissie xx

Fantastic grungy collage Valerie ( I love that kit those alphas come from).
ReplyDeleteThoroughly enjoyed seeing all the glassware - especially any that catch the light and cast coloured shadows.
The piece with the bird was really lovely.
Hope you are feeling better.

Wow! Stunning page Valerie! Some great morning shots - love the silhouetted raven! Thanks for showing more of that gorgeous glass! Hugs, Chrisx
ReplyDeleteGorgeous piece Valerie, for some reason your men remind me of miners setting of down the mine. Fabulous photographs today too xx
Sabine
Wow- I love your piece today Valerie. It looks like it was made out of batik fabric, which is really fun and gives it such great color "texture". Hope you're feeling better and are having a good week. Hugs-Erika

Playing catch-up here, and loving the glass. It's so difficult to photograph glass behind glass, but you did an excellent job. It was all so very lovely.
