Hi Everybody!
Hope your weekend is going well.
For Art Journal Journey, winter wonderland, I have another hybrid page, using a photo as background combined with an image from Gecko Galz and snow flake frame. The quote is from Robert Frost.
Today was cold and frosty with blue skies and blue water:
Have a great day you all, take care,
and thanks a lot for coming by!
What a beautiful winter wonderland image! The photographs are lovely too!
ReplyDeleteWonderful journal page, glorious photos, the last one is my favourite today. Hugs, Sarah
ReplyDeleteI like the vintage kids on your page – it would make a great new year card. Your photos are also very nice – love the skies, especially the last one.
ReplyDeleteI love the edges around your picture-how they make little snowflake edges. And the tree buds in your photos are sooo big. I think your warm winter is going give you leaves in another few weeks from their size. Enjoy your Sunday!
ReplyDeleteI loved the play on words with frost as the title of your post. Your art is gorgeous, and the children look so happy playing in the snow. It's a lovely entry.
ReplyDeleteI always like it when you show the bend in the river. Now that I know what to look for, I always look for boats at the bend. I agree with Erika about the leaves. I was surprised, because here there's nothing but branches and snow.
Have a super Sunday, dear.
Lovely winter piece today and beautiful blues in your photos.
ReplyDeleteYour Winter Wonderland page is STUNNING! Just adore everything about it, the subject matter, the colour, the composition ... everything. Such a blue blue sky today ... lovely walk. Hope it will be a little warmer today though ... looks very 'crisp'. hugs, Donna
ReplyDeleteLove you bright and sunny looking photographs Valerie they have brightened my day already and it is still dark here. Thank you for sharing them.
ReplyDeleteJust love this page it takes me back to when I had a scrap book as child. So clever to have the dark background to show it off so well
Love Chrissie xx
Liebe Valerie,
ReplyDeletetraumhaft schön dein Eintrag... wie schön es doch auf deiner Seite ist, herrlich.
Herzliche Grüsse, Sichtwiese
A beautiful vintage pic. Lucky you having clear blue skies, we've had the worst flooding on record (we live top of a hill so we've been ok) but hundreds of homes flooded, roads closed, no trains. The weather is going crazy! Enjoy your Sunday, I had a huge tidy out of my craft room yesterday so I'm actually in the mood for doing something now! Xx
ReplyDeleteSorry about the weather, I've been watching it on the News. Glad you are safe. Looking forward to seeing new work from your clean and tidy craft room!

Oh what fun! I love your page and the great quote! Your photos do look cold - but oh so beautiful! We have seen flowers around that just should not be in bloom at all yet! I suppose the frost will halt their progress! Hugs, Chrisx
ReplyDeleteLove your page Valerie love the image and quote.
ReplyDeleteLovely photos, it's nice to know that the sky isn't grey everywhere!

ReplyDeleteLove the art and the photos are beautiful. Our day is cold, grey and crunchy here. Need to bundle up and get some firewood to warm the place up ...a good day for baking.
ReplyDeletePerfect quote from Mr FROST ;-) and your lovely snowflake collage to illustrate it Valerie.
ReplyDeleteEnjoying all of the lovely blues in your photos too!

I am way late responding to blogs. Yours posted on Saturday is another favorite. I love the vintage children as the focal for your beautiful snowflake photo/border. Your photos are fantastic too; the blues so bright and cheery.
