Hi you all. It's Tag Tuesday again, and the theme this week is gardening and everything related to it. I am just as good at gardening as at all other household tasks; all I know about this theme is that gardens should have flowers and plants in them, and that they attract bees and butterflies and birds etc. So, I have made 2 tags with flowers and bees. For both tags I have used some scraps of Anna Griffin paper mounted onto card from an old calendar. The first one has been made with a gel image transfer.
Thanks to all who sent hugs yesterday, I really need them just now.
Have a good day you all, take care and thanks for visiting!
Lovely tags. I have no idea how you make an image transfer, but I love the faded look it gives! Have a good day, hugs, Sarah
ReplyDeleteGorgeous tags Valerie.
ReplyDeleteMore hugs xx
Such gorgeousness, Valerie!
ReplyDeleteHi Valerie
ReplyDeleteI am sorry I have not been over to visit but family matters are occupying my energy.
Snatching some time to visit friends and see what art they have been creating.
Those tags bring summer into the home, I like the addition of the flowers.
Wishes
Lynne
Thanks for always taking the time to visit and comment even when I am unable to come and visit you.
These are just gorgeous Valerie and love the pretty summery colours. Necessary today as we keep having heavy rain showers and I'm hoping the sunshine of the weekend soon comes back.
ReplyDeleteHope you're feeling a bit more cheerful today.
Hugs, Fliss xx

Lovely tags Valerie, lovely sentiments to go with them too! I must admit I am a terrible gardener, I can't stand bugs and I am frightened by most of them, lol. Glad today is better, take care. ~Diane
ReplyDeleteLove the words you added to the beautiful tags, both make me want to get out in the garden. No chance here, as its wall to wall rain yet again.

Hi Valerie. Gorgeous tags. Sending more hugs so that you have some in reserve :)
ReplyDeleteRegards Florence xx
Oh Val, gorgeous tags once again. I love seeing your interpretations. If you want to garden you can always come and help me....LOL we are in the thick of it now and so are the biting black flies. ACK...
ReplyDeleteTake care and thanks for your lovely comments, they do not go unnoticed.

Oh!.. MORE gardening! I say this because the women's group at my church was having a big meeting and guest speaker there to talk all about gardening! I don't have a 2" patch of dirt to my name to garden on, so I have to just settle for my little window garden. In fact, I'm seriously considering I may have to HANG that begonia in the window, because there's no room on the sill! Still I love to garden, if I could. I miss growing my own tomatoes... And your cute little Bumblebee tags are certainly inspiring! They're really beautiful, Valerie! I just recently found out I can participate now!!.. So I'll see what I can put together sometime soon for this week's challenge!.. Have a great day! ((hugs)) ~tina
ReplyDeleteOh what a glorious thing to be, a healthy grown up busy, busy bee ... remember that song? Super tags Valerie. Don't know where today has gone - see you tomorrow! xx

Valerie, I'm sorry you don't have a little garden to dig in the dirt and hope for flowers to grow. It is great therapy and relieves stress; however, yesterday I overdid it so took it easy today.
ReplyDeleteYour tags are certainly an expression of summer and all of the colors we see in the flowers.
Take care of that foot.
Hugs,
C
