ReplyDeleteThanks Sarah, have a great day, take care! Hugs to all!
DeleteI like your art piece. Love the misty photos. It must be very cold over there.
ReplyDeleteThanks Nancy, it is indeed cold just now, hope it gets a bit milder. Enjoy your day!
DeleteVery interesting art Vj. Well done!
ReplyDeleteLoved the misty pictures. What is the metal arch?
The metal arch is a sculpture from a local artist who works with steel. It sits on an island in the middle of a roundabout. I love it!
DeleteIts beautiful!
DeleteIt is indeed!
DeleteWell, to start my morning with a nymph doesn't seem like a bad proposition to me! Usually I start with a bowl of cereal but a nymph seems better. I am very appreciative that you continue to create these gorgeous creatures for me! I am sure that one day they will find their way to a gallery called The Palace of Earthly Delights or some such name. People will come from far and wide to admire and fantasize a little. Your misty, fog-shrouded pictures have a certain ethereal quality to them. Very atmospheric and lovely. The gas fire place in our family room has died and it is too old to get parts, so we need to replace it. A fellow was here yesterday to measure up and check exactly what needs to be done, and he is going to give us a price in a few days. I am sure it is not going to be cheap but I miss the aesthetics of it. In reality it contributes little to heating the house. But who knows what a glass of wine and flames flickering gently might lead to.......Hugs and kisses. David
ReplyDeleteHi David, I'm sure you could have fun with a nymph, but be careful of the horns! I'm glad you continue to like and enjoy the earthly delights I provide for you! So sorry your fireplace has given up the ghost, It is nice to see flickering flames, and yes, together with a glass or three of wine, it could lead to something, perhaps even a hangover! My fingers are still very bad, I can only use my middle fingers to type so I'll keep this short. Hugs to you and Miriam!
DeleteFab art today Valerie
ReplyDeleteMuch💛love
Thanks Sweetie!
DeleteYour nymph has very expressive eyes. the misty, foggy photos are ethereal, but it looks cold. Brrrrr. Time for another cup of tea. Take care.
ReplyDeleteYes it's cold, grey, and good weather to stay home!
DeleteLove that girl with the purple hair. All that moisture in the air!
ReplyDeleteThanks so much!
DeleteOh My! The nymph portrait is absolutely wonderful! Loving the tag too - how can I not love a blackbird! We have been watching one strip the berries from a hedge in front of our kitchen window.
ReplyDeleteLove the misty photos...but it does look cold - cold enough to follow that advice !!!! Hugs, Chrisx
Thanks Chris! I stayed home today! Hugs!
DeleteYour frost/mist photos capture the atmosphere.
ReplyDeleteThanks!
DeleteBeautiful art Valerie, and wonderful early morning photos!
ReplyDeleteThanks Alison!

ReplyDeleteThanks Bill, have a great day!
ReplyDeleteLove the last two photos! Beautiful art work Valerie and the foggy photos are lovely, they create a air of mystery.
ReplyDeleteThanks Sue, they contain good advice! Hugs, Valerie
DeleteHa. That second meme is a hoot.
ReplyDeleteFrost and morning mist sounds like a book title to me:) You can tell where my mind goes:)
Love both pieces, especially the nature nymph. Purrfect.
Hugs
I deed, now you need to write that book! Hugs!
DeleteI thought I had been here, but obviously, I had not. I didn't look at any of Tam's videos that had faces, because I knew I could never draw them. I like your nymph. She looks pensive to me. Nicely done, dear.
ReplyDeleteI also really liked your Magic tag. It is wonderful.
Mist and frost have me chilling about now. We set records yesterday for highs and today the bottom fell out of the barrel so to speak. It is now feeling like winter weather has finally hit here. My favorite was what looks to me like a bike rack. It is metal and looks like I would NOT want to touch it. Sorry your fingers aren't doing well, dear.
Thanks E! The 'bike rack' is a huge, modern statue made from stainless steel by a local by a local sculptor! I love it, even when it's frosted up, but I wouldn't touch it either!
DeleteI love this fantastical lady. She looks like my cousin minus the horns of course-smile. And nice tag too. Plus I love your frosty views. no frost here in California. Nice to have a break of slightly warm weather. Hope all is well. Hugs-Erika
ReplyDeleteThanks Erika, glad your cousin doesnt have horns!! Here is still cold and frosty! Hugs!
DeleteWhat fabulous projects Valerie, you have such a way with colour! Your misty photos are beautiful too! Take care and look after yourself, Sue xx
ReplyDeleteThanks Sue, I Love Walking in frost and Mist!
DeleteYour photos are especially dramatic and moody today. I really like them all!
ReplyDeleteSuch lovely frosty, misty photographs here today.
ReplyDeleteOur day has been dull and grey but window shopping earlier helped because the window displays are looking Christmassy, colourful and cheerful.
All the best Jan
wow, my daughter would LOVE your art today. She is a great fan of purple. I too love the strong colors you used today.
