  7. Very interesting art Vj. Well done!
Loved the misty pictures. What is the metal arch?

    1. The metal arch is a sculpture from a local artist who works with steel. It sits on an island in the middle of a roundabout. I love it!

  8. Well, to start my morning with a nymph doesn't seem like a bad proposition to me! Usually I start with a bowl of cereal but a nymph seems better. I am very appreciative that you continue to create these gorgeous creatures for me! I am sure that one day they will find their way to a gallery called The Palace of Earthly Delights or some such name. People will come from far and wide to admire and fantasize a little. Your misty, fog-shrouded pictures have a certain ethereal quality to them. Very atmospheric and lovely. The gas fire place in our family room has died and it is too old to get parts, so we need to replace it. A fellow was here yesterday to measure up and check exactly what needs to be done, and he is going to give us a price in a few days. I am sure it is not going to be cheap but I miss the aesthetics of it. In reality it contributes little to heating the house. But who knows what a glass of wine and flames flickering gently might lead to.......Hugs and kisses. David

    1. Hi David, I'm sure you could have fun with a nymph, but be careful of the horns! I'm glad you continue to like and enjoy the earthly delights I provide for you! So sorry your fireplace has given up the ghost, It is nice to see flickering flames, and yes, together with a glass or three of wine, it could lead to something, perhaps even a hangover! My fingers are still very bad, I can only use my middle fingers to type so I'll keep this short. Hugs to you and Miriam!

Love the misty photos...but it does look cold - cold enough to follow that advice !!!! Hugs, Chrisx

  19. I thought I had been here, but obviously, I had not. I didn't look at any of Tam's videos that had faces, because I knew I could never draw them. I like your nymph. She looks pensive to me. Nicely done, dear.

I also really liked your Magic tag. It is wonderful.

Mist and frost have me chilling about now. We set records yesterday for highs and today the bottom fell out of the barrel so to speak. It is now feeling like winter weather has finally hit here. My favorite was what looks to me like a bike rack. It is metal and looks like I would NOT want to touch it. Sorry your fingers aren't doing well, dear.

    1. Thanks E! The 'bike rack' is a huge, modern statue made from stainless steel by a local by a local sculptor! I love it, even when it's frosted up, but I wouldn't touch it either!

  23. Such lovely frosty, misty photographs here today.
Our day has been dull and grey but window shopping earlier helped because the window displays are looking Christmassy, colourful and cheerful.
