More wonderful art

Hi Everybody!

Be happy -  the weekend is here - have a good one!

For Art Journal Journey, Indian Summer, I have another
A3 mixed media page, with collage, stamping and doodling on a brayered background. I am also linking to Paint Party Friday:

And I have some more photos from my museum visits, from the K20 again:

Paul Klee

Wassily Kandinski:

Juan Gris:

 Ernst Ludwig Kirchner:

Emil Nolde:

Max Beckmann:

Robert Rauschenberg:

Georges Braque:

Juan Gris:

This is, once again, just a small selection of the paintings there,
I am still overwhelmed!

Have a great day, take care,
and thanks a lot for coming by!

  8. Your page with the stamping and the gorgeous owl and gorgeous colors is more to my liking than the museum pieces, famous though they be. BTW, I think your header banner is fantastic. I laughed when I saw the bird perched on the "a".

I love it all, but especially the Beckmann and the art by Rauschenberg. I want to paint like him (Rauschenberg) when I grow up! Thanks for sharing these with us, because I'm really in LOVE.

  22. I confess that 'modern-art' leaves me cold. Not to be confused with mixed-media which I enjoy even if I don't participate. I like realism in painting & drawing; poetry also has to conform to form rather than be free-roaming ... but thankfully everyone has their own valid opinions which brings diversity.

Really enjoying seeing your museum photos - my knowledge of art is virtually nil so now that I am getting more into painting etc I'm really interested in seeing (and learning) everything!
    Enjoy your evening... Gill xx

  30. Somehow I managed to miss this post ...which really doesn't surprise me either. It seems I miss a lot if things since the puppy came to live here. :( She demands much more of my attention than anything else. Love the art you shared on this day, yours and the works from the museum. I really need to go to the art museum here more often. I enjoy it so much.
