Hi Everybody!
Hope you are all doing well! I have an appointment for the heart examination next Tuesday, so I'm hoping all will go well. I have to go to a clinic with a specialist heart department on the other side of Düsseldorf, as it can't be done here. This examination is only offered by a couple of clinics so I'm thankful they organised an appt so quickly.
Today I have digitally assembled a tag using my own artwork. The tag and background are hand panted pieces, the tulips were painted and digitaly cut out, as was the tag. The bird is a photo of my balcony blackbird, also digitally cut out. The tag is for Michele's flowers challenge at Tag Tuesday. You still have a week to join us.
And as tulips are my fave spring flowers, I used some of the elements together with my man to make an 8" x 8" journal page, meant for my spring challenge at AJJ
You've created some fantastic art for today. love the tulips, and that cool TH man with the crow on his shoulder. Nice. I'm also glad to hear you will be able to get into the cardiac doctor so quickly. I'm keeping my fingers crossed they'll be able to get everything fixed. Hope everything else is starting off well this new week. Hugs-Erika
ReplyDeleteThanks Erika. Its very hard to get a quick appt for the cardiac department, so I'm glad it worked! Have a great day, hugs!
DeleteLove your tulips. Hope all goes well at the clinic Valerie. Lovely to see spring in your area.
ReplyDeleteThanks Christine, stay safe and well!
DeleteI really like your tulips tag and the guy in statue holding boy, who is he and the story behind him.
ReplyDeleteCoffee is on and stay safe
Thanks Dora. The statue shows the son of the emperor, back in 1864.
Deleteawesome your post. thanks for sharing
ReplyDeleteThanks so much, have a great week!
DeleteHope the doctor appointment goes well. Beautiful red tulips. Glad that Spring has come for you.
ReplyDeleteThanks Nancy, have a greatday!
DeleteHi Val, wonderful art and photos. Love ho you changed everything around and made something diferent out of it, clever. Glad to hear you are feeling a bit better, hope it stays that way. Hope all goes well with the examination next week, hugs, Sarah
ReplyDeleteThanks Sarah, glad you like it! Hope all is going well with the renovations! Hugs to all!
DeleteBeautiful art Valerie, I love your tulips!
ReplyDeleteWe definitely have a lot to be thankful for in spite of all the rising prices. As I walked down my hill, admiring the beautiful trees and fields in the distance yesterday, I tried to imagine it all in ruins. 😢 Praying for an end to the madness.
I'm also praying that the new cardiac doctor will be able to diagnose and treat you successfully.
Hugs
Alison
Thanks so much Alison, especially for the prayers! Hugs!
DeleteHi Valerie! I hope all goes well with your health! ♥ Your art is beautiful, I love the tulips! Signs of spring...the photos are beautiful. We are not quite there yet, though the snow is gradually melting, yippee! ☺☺ Great quote at the end for being thankful.
ReplyDeleteThanks Rain, Hope spring soon comes to your place! Have a great week, hugs, Valerie
DeleteGood morning, Valerie: This is a lovely way to start my day, with blackbirds and tulips. Outside there is still snow but it is receding and around the edges of the gardens bare earth is showing its lovely complexion, and before long little green shoots will be poking their way above the soil, thrusting up to meet the sun, and the birds will join humans in a chorus of appreciation. I am very happy to hear that you have obtained an appointment with a heart specialist. You can tell them from me that I know that you have a very big heart and that it just needs fine tuning a little and that should be their priority. If they handle heart transplants maybe they could admit Putin to the clinic because it's obvious to everyone he doesn't have one. I never thought that in my lifetime I would see Europe plunged into war again, with the potential for it to engulf the whole continent if things go awry. The only solution is for Putin to call back his army, but I fear that is as unlikely as for Trump to tell the truth. They make a great pair don't they? Who could have believed that the greatest cheerleader of a Russian dictator/thug would be a twice-impeached, disgraced US President? Have a safe journey to the clinic and tell those doctors to get you back to peak form! Hugs and kisses, Daviid
ReplyDeleteHi David, glad my post gave you a good start in your day.I am sure that spring will soon be with you, with lots of flowers, birds nesting and warmer temps. Yes, Putin could do with some implants. I think none of us expected war in Europe, Putin and Trump make a good pair, both living their dreams of alternative truths. Have a great day, big hugs to you and Miriam.
DeleteLovely creation. The gent looks like he's bringing a bouquet of tulips to someone special. What advice is the crow giving to him. The grateful meme is good advice we all should be more mindful of. Happy T Day
ReplyDeleteThanks CJ, I think the crow will be giving him some nesting advice!
DeleteI am praying for you...Your art is wonderful.
ReplyDeleteThanks so much, Debra, have a great week!
DeleteYour bowler guy art always makes me smile. I love it -- and all the photos of your area. Sending all good wishes that next week's appointment will yield good and helpful results and that until then you can rest and get those meds adjusted in the clinic. Thinking of you with all my heart!
ReplyDeleteThanks Jeanie, I hope next week brings me some better news! Have a great week!
DeleteWow two fabulous pieces! I'm of a certain age so I remember the Milk Tray man and he reminds me of him lol. I hope all goes well at the clinic and that you'll soon be fighting fit again. Take care, Sue xx

DeleteIt appears I didn't leave a comment after visiting late Tuesday night, or maybe I just dreamt I left one. Your tulips are lovely. I love how they are tied with a red ribbon. Just lovely. Thanks for another great entry using your theme at Art Journal Journey dear.
ReplyDeleteI was taken by the statue of that Kaiser. The grounds are looking very springlike there.
It is spring Here, it all Looks lovely.

DeleteGlad to hear you have an appointment next Tuesday, so hard to get seen quickly I hope they will give you the solutions and help to heal and give you much more strength lovely. Tulips are so beautiful, I can see why they are a spring fav. Love the tag and journal spread using the same bunch of wrapped tulips, a bright and happy colour.
ReplyDeleteSo welcome to see Spring is starting to bloom in your part of the world Valerie.
Creative healing hugs Tracey xx
What a fabulous background you have made for the tag and equally for the journal page. I love backgrounds that are well done and these both float my boat Valerie. I love the colour palette you have used on the tag and on the journal page you fascinate me with the tiny figures and other pieces that look very dimensional. Love the tulips on the black background formed by the male figure.
ReplyDeleteSorry to hear your heart looks to be a problem but I hope this specialist clinic can get to the bottom of things and do something for you.
Thinking of you, Neet xx
What fabulous flowery art Valerie! I love the photos of your area as always.
ReplyDeleteGood Luck with your appointment! Hugs, Chrisx
Luv your beautiful flowering trees. Here in Trinidad and Tobago. Our Poui Trees are blosomming. It not Spring as we only have 2 Seasons. Wet and Dry. But we do have them blossoming parallel to your Springtime.
ReplyDeleteHappy Tag Tuesday. Luv your tags.
