Hi Everybody!

Another short post, I am just so exhausted each evening after my various therapies that all I want to do is to throw myself into bed!

Today I have a mixed media piece with digital additions for my 'spring' theme at AJJ:

  9. Sorry to read that you are exhausted after all the treatments, I do hope that you begin to pick up soon. I hope you are sleeping well as my mother always said that sleep was a healer.
Your latest picture to inspire us certainly does that and proves that a green background is not necessary for a spring-like picture. I love all the colours you have used, they marry so well together and the various elements spell Spring to me.
    Take care,
    Gentle hugs, Neet xx

  11. Nice piece you created, Valerie. I am glad you finished it before throwing yourself into bed. I suspect you crawled between the covers rather than spring-boarding in after all those therapies that make you so tired. It's a very nice page for spring, and even here we are seeing signs of it. Yesterday I led a bird walk and we saw our first Red-winged Blackbird and Common Grackle, birds that have just arrived back from their winter sojourn farther south. More will follow and soon the full flush of birds with procreation on their minds will have taken up residence. Actually the Mourning Doves were already getting amorous. The roses you show us are gorgeous, and what else would a rose be? There are probably no roses in Ukraine now, just the thorns of war. I hope that Russian generals are planning a coup; I have no idea what else will stop that maniac Putin. Whoever could have thought that Europe could go through these convulsions again? Take good care. Hugs and kisses, David

    1. Hi David! Yes, crawling or falling into bed is more my style. Glad you saw the first spring birds on your bird walk, let's hope it will soon warm up for you. The situation in the Ukraine is so terrible, my heart goes out to all of those people suffering because of that madman. He really needs to be locked away. I never imaginied that this would happen. My tiredness was obviously caused by heart problems, I got the results of te tests today and have to take more medication to help- C'est la vie! Big hugs!

  12. I hope all your therapies are helping and that it is "good tired" versus "bad tired" when you finally hit bed. Your piece today is really so springy! And I love the cat (like Gypsy!) with the lion shadow.
