  4. That is a gorgeous autumn page. It is perfect for Tracey's challenge. And such pretty autumn photos too. The Einstein meme has informed me I have a cluttered mind...smile. Better that than an empty mind. Those memes are fun. I hope your week has started well. hugs-Erika

  7. Good morning, Valerie. The second and third of your "funnies" are hardly classified as funny. Sadly, they reflect a truth we are all living with and bequeathing to our children and grandchildren without a thought for their future. And it's not a stork in the penultimate picture, it's a heron. Having got all that off my chest, let me turn to your delightful art page with its vibrancy! The pictures that follow are gorgeous too. Orange really is the dominant colour of fall, isn't it, although the birch is my backyard is a wonderful shade of gold. Soon it will be bare, however. At least half the leaves have already fallen. The Sugar Maple has hints of red too. Next spring I will have to trim a few of the branches that are now touching the house. About fifteen years ago we planted it as a sapling about 150 cm high, and now it is a gorgeous tree. Hummingbirds are known to favour oaks and maples as nesting sites and each year I hope. So far it hasn't happened. Yesterday I went to the dentist. The fees they charge are obscene. I might just let my teeth rot in future!! That would be just the look for Halloween! Hugs and kisses. 1. Hi David. Remember, we English people have a very strange sense of humour, black and bitter, like the situation in the world just now. You are a spoilsport saying it's a heron. The stork just disguised itself as a heron so as to take people by surprise! I love the autumn colours, and always enjoy this season. I will keep my fingers crossed that the humming birds will start nesting in your trees, they would certainly have a premium hotel service at your place! And don't let's talk about dentists....The basic charges here are covered by the insurance, but everything else, the other 99.9% you pay through the nose. Or through the mouth in this case! Have a great day, take care! Hugs!

Thanks for the beautiful archived photos of your area. Looks like autumn is arriving there, while here, our temps are still in the 90s F (30+ C).

Well, it took ages for your page to unroll. It's the internet here at the caravan, so slow, but what a treat when I saw the whole page. That is a gorgeous page Valerie. I just love the way you have placed everything and the colours are simply fabulous. Thanks also for the lovely autumnal photographs, lots of inspiration there for you for this month of autumnal challenges.
