Hi Everybody!
Today we are starting a new challenge at TIOT, and our theme is:
👿💀Halloween👻👿
As always, projects of all formats are welcome, and you have 2 weeks to link to us. There is lots of inspiration from my teamies on our blog, so hope to see you joining in!
My tag is a hybrid combination of photos - the moon and the branch with the night sky - and some Halloween embellishments. I am also linking to Tag Tuesday. Pinky's orange and purple theme:
Some pictures taken last week when the skies were blue:
Love-locks, and a huge bike chain lock - somebody's taking things very seriously!
Have a great day, take care,
and thanks a lot for coming by!

DeleteBeautiful tag and fall photos
ReplyDeleteThanks Christine, I love this time of year!
DeleteNice tag for Halloween. Beautiful scenery. Love the buildings with walls covered with colourful plants.
ReplyDeleteThanks Nancy, those old buildings are always beautiful, especially in autumn. Have a great day!
DeleteSuch a colorful post! What are the locks for!?
ReplyDeleteThanks Ashok! People who are 'in love' engrave their names on the locks and hang them on a bridge. It's supposed to keep them together for ever! I wonder!
DeleteHi Val, good morning! Love this beautiful and colourful post. So many lovely photos, and your beautiful tag, also made from photos, wonderful! Have a lovely day, take care, hugs from us all, Sarah
ReplyDeleteThanks Sarah. This is always my fave time of year! Have a wonderful day, hugs to all!
DeleteHalloween is rapidly approaching, Valerie, and the witches and hobgoblins are doubtless preparing to come out to scare the living daylights out of children, who of course want to be scared. There are a couple of houses around here that go more than a little overboard with their outdoor Halloween decor. I wonder what the inside of the house is like? The picture of the ivy climbing up the house is wonderful. It is sooooo red! When I was young it seemed that many old houses were characterized by their ivy, but one seldom sees it any more. I know that some people claim it damages the brick and perhaps that's the reason. But I like it! And the flower boxes in the last image are so bright and colourful. I hope that all is well with you and that your fingers are behaving. Hugs and kisses. David
ReplyDeleteI love Halloween, but don't decorate any more. Nor many kiddies come by tricking and treating, but I always have some candies ready, and then, if the kids dont eat hem, I have to sacrifice myself and eat them up, sigh! The red ivy is called Virginia ivy here, and I love it. We used to have it climbing on our house, but the admin had it all removed so it doesn't damage the bricks. It was there for years and nothing was damaged! The house in the last photo is a star restaurant with a famous cook. They offer a 'cheap' midday special each day, but it costs more than I spend on food in 2 weeks, so I don't go there! Hope you are feeling well, enjoying your food and some good wine, and drinking lots of coffee to keep awake! Hugs!
DeleteGorgeous hybrid tag Valerie! LOVE how you did that background for your spooky witch and bats! And of course, just lovely photos!! Have a Happy Halloween... ((HUGS)) Helen
ReplyDeleteThanks Helen. The background is a photo taken from my bedroom window! Have agreat week! Hugs!
DeleteWhat a fabulous tag! The colour of the moon against purple hues and the bat silhouettes look amazing and I love the black cat on the tree branch too - perfect 😀. Such lovely views of the countryside and wow, those red leaves on the house are stunning! Thanks for the inspiration and wishing you a wonderful week! Hugs Jo x
ReplyDeleteThanks Jo! I always love the red leaves, too! Have a wonderful week!
DeleteThat is a super tag Valerie. I love how you used the real branch and moon photos (rather than a drawing or stamp) with the added spooky images. The witch looks she could be one scary lady. This tag is perfect for TIOT. Hope all is well with you. Hugs-Erika

DeleteSorry I'm so late visiting. First I had a power outage that lasted over 19 hours, and now I have a very sick kitty I'm trying to clean up after and care for. That's a great tag. I really like your wonderful tag. I love the moon and the birds. It's a wonderful Halloween entry.
ReplyDeleteLovely photos of the bridge and love locks. That was fun to see. I also like the gate at that home with the fleur-de-lis. Beautiful photos showing the flowers are still looking good in your little town.
Hi Elizabeth, sorry your kitty is sick, I was worried that you might be ill. Oh dear, and a power outage to top it all, not good! They keep the flowers going all year round in town, I don't know how they do it! Have agreat day!
