T sTands for Tag Tuesday and more

Hi Everybody!

Hope you all enjoyed your weekend, or for those with a long weekend that you are still enjoying it. Here we have had 2 sunny days, I can hardly believe it! But it's good not to freeze outside!

This evening at 9 pm at Tag Tuesday we will be starting a new challenge, and our lovely and talented  Michele is hosting. Her theme is Faces, so please all show your faces for this challenge! As always you have 2 weeks to link your tags to us, and tags of all formats are welcome. And thanks to  our wonderful Pinky who hosted the last challenge and to all who joined in.

I made a tag using an image from Mischief Circus. Is it a pensive face, or sad? Is it masculine or feminine? I don't know, what do you think?

This evening we will also be celebrating Elizabeth's T sTands for Tuesday link party, so here a warm welcome to all of the nice ladies who visit here.

I am sharing a coffee page made in previous times and some more coffee stamps:

Speechless

Hi Everybody!

I have a last piece to share for Elle's language challenge at AJJ. This is an A3 mixed media page. The background was painted with acrylics, and I used some left over painted strips, cut into squares, to form a random pattern. This was fun to make, it's relaxing to just push the pieces around and see what effects they create. It has no words on it, but when I look at it, lots of words come to my mind - squares, spirals, cogs, stars, spots, colours, wavy lines, and movement. The pictures speak their own language and tell their own story. Perhaps you can think of more words:

Some more pictures from the Zoo in Krefeld. Blogger changed the photos round, so they're not in the order I wanted:

This huge tortoise shell caused lots of laughs when people crawled into it to play tortoise - here a friend who did not want to be named:

The kangaroos were hard to photographs as they didn't want to keep still:

Have a great weekend, take care,

Thursday/Friday post

Hi Everybody!

This week seems to be disappearing fast, where does the time go?

Today I have a journal page meant for Elle's language challenge at AJJ and for Paint Party Friday, the language of creation. This is a remake of one I made many years back, but the other one was more purple. The quote is in Hebrew at the top and English at the bottom, and is the first sentence of Genesis. It was painted with acrylics on an A3 sheet of paper, the decorations and wording were made with Pentel pens in white, gold and bronze:

And I am sharing some photos from a trip to the zoo in Krefeld a couple of years back, and I hope they will soon open up again. The sculptures are all from African artists:

This was one of my faves:

I'm hoping that dear  David will know what these birds are:

Have a great day, take care,
and thanks a lot for coming by!
