Hi Everybody!
On the 2nd of the month we re-show work which has
already been around before and link to
Elizabeth's blog.
I am re-showing 2 pieces inspired by
Rosina Wachtmeister's
beautiful cat paintings and first shown here in 2014.
Here with a colourful painted and dripped BG:

and thanks a lot for coming by!
Lovely older pieces and the sheep look beautiful and content.
ReplyDeleteThe cats are adorable and the sheep look suitably sheepish :)
ReplyDeleteI remember these lovely felines, they are really wonderful, and well worth a second look. Great photos, too, love those long eared sheep. Have a nice evening, it's really cold here, so stay warm. Hugs, Sarah
ReplyDeleteOh, I love those cats! I like how the cat face looks a bit human. Cute lambies. The little black and white fellow is so sweet. Enjoy the rest of your evening.

I love Rosina Wachmeister -- I have a small zip bag I carry in my purse for chapstick and such with her cats. They're so happy. And a ceramic cat of her design. I love what you did with these! And I also love the sheep because with sheep, what's not to love?
ReplyDeleteMust say I love your current header, those four images are wonderful.
ReplyDeleteLove the photo's of the sheep, don't they look quite peaceful and content.
Happy December Wishes
All the best Jan

I'll begin with the sheep. They are simply adorable and the that is black will grow up to produce some lovely fur, too. Mothers and babies, what's not to love. Superior photos.
ReplyDeleteI love these cats. So do Bleubeard and Squiggles. They have since you sent me some that were similar. But these are so incredibly colorful and full of beauty and life. I'm simply thrilled that you brought these back to share with us for a second look on the 2nd, dear Valerie.
