Hi Everybody!
I am honoured to be acting as guest designer for the
Simon Monday Challenge this month.
The theme this week is
'icy photo inspiration'.
The focus this week is on Paper Artsy Products,
Thanks to all the crew there for asking me!
One entry is chosen each week and can win a fabulous
voucher for the store:
For my DT piece
I made an A3 journal page. The background was
painted with Paper Artsy fresco paints
using a mix of blue and white, and stamped with a
Jofy snow-flake stamp using white acrylic
paint.
The focal image from my stash was glazed with
Paper Artsy frosting glaze. I used
snow paste
for the snow and coated it with some frosting glaze
mixed with
hologram glitter. The lace frame
was stitched, as were the edges of the page.
The trees were cut with a Hero Arts set,
the reindeer were punched.
And I have some icy and misty weekend photos:
I hope to see lots of you joining in at Simon Monday Challenge!
Have a great day, take care,
and thanks a lot for coming by!

ReplyDeleteWhat an incredible honor, Valerie. Most impressive. You certainly did the challenge proud and that icy entry you created is out of this world. I still can't believe those reindeer came from a punch. All the details you added to make this even FEEL icy turned out super.
Your fog photos turned out wonderful. I hope you didn't get sick taking those pictures. You certainly know how to capture fog, something I've never been able to do. Again, congrats on your guest designer position this month at Simon Says.
We have so much mist here being near to the river that we get lots of opportunities to practise!
DeleteThis is gorgeous frosty page!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteSimon chose wisely. Love the blue and white snowflake affect.
ReplyDeleteWondrous pics, very mystic. I 'borrowed' a couple.
Have a day filled with sparkle.
Hugs
