Turn, turn, turn

Hi Everybody!

Today I have some more pages from my 'new' journal, this time featuring some wonderful verses from the Book of Ecclesiastes, which were sung so beautifully by the Byrds in 1965. The song was written by Pete Seeger in 1950. I have written the text in English and in Hebrew.
I am linking to Art Journal Journey, for the record.

More photos of my visitors:

The little tits (chicadees) are so pretty, I love watching them flitting about.

The horses are all wearing their winter coats again:

These three were racing about, having fun:

The Rhine is very full again:

Have a great day you all, take care,
and thanks a lot for coming by!

  4. This is a great journal page. I love this song. I especially love how you put the words in both English and Hebrew. And I love seeing your birds. Your chickadees look so different from ours. Hope you have a wonderful day. Hugs-Erika

  6. I used both the song and the bible verse in my Time altered book. To add to that, I participate in Art Every Day Month in November each year. One year I did a play on those words, where it was a time to (whatever I created that day). So that song holds very special meaning to me, too. Like you, I did all the research and learned that Seeger wrote it and only added one line to the bible verse.

Lovely photos of the birds and horses today. I really enjoyed the way the horses seemed to romp and play with abandon. It reminded me of the saying "Dance like no one is looking." Have a wonderful day, dear.

  8. Fantastic page and a really beautiful song to choose.

Love the little bluetits and the wonderful horses in their bright blankets. They will need blankets if it is a cold as it is here--we have frost and fog at the moment.

    Have a great day

    Love Chrissie xx
