Hi Everybody!
Today is Tuesday, which means it's the day between Monday and Wednesday.
And as well as that, it's also time for Tag Tuesday, where our theme is
shabby chic, and for Elizabeth's T stands for Tuesday - here a big 'hello' to all of the T gang and everyone else who drops in. I would also like to remind you that it's half time over at TIOT, where our mood-board challenge will be running for another week, so you have plenty of time to get in your lovely projects with spring colours.
My tag for tag Tuesday is quite simple. I used an image from Gecko Galz, printed out a few years back, when I accidentally printed out a whole pile of images instead of just one. I placed the lady on a corrugated card tag, peeled, painted white, and with some Utee gold drizzled round the edges. I added lots of flowers, to her hat as well, some lace and a butterfly, and some pink fibres.
For T stands for Tuesday I made a tea-party page. I am also linking to Art Journal Journey, for the record, inspired by the song 'Tea for Two', sung so unforgettably by Doris Day back in 1950.
And last but not least, some photos taken on my walk today, at the Rhine, by the Basilica and through the Marien Hospital gardens:
Have a great day, take care,
and thanks a lot for coming by, always nice to see you!
Wonderful tag and journal page, love the photos, too. All in all a great post, hugs Sarah
ReplyDeletelove Doris Day. Pretty spring tag and nice teatime inspired piece! Thanks for the nice photos.
ReplyDeletegorgeous tag!! I see there is a "Tea For two " theme over at AJJ just recently:) Gorgeous photos of your walk again-love seeing them all. Happy T day too!
ReplyDeleteThat tag is amazing!! Love the 3D elements that you included...such pop! And of course your gorgeous photos. Makes me realize that I need to get out there with my camera!!
ReplyDeleteHappy T day!
Ok that tag is basic but gorgeous, and your tea invite is perfect! I love how you personalized it from Elizabeth too. :) Next week you should have an invite for all of us for coffee. :) And lastly, those flowers-wow! They are gorgeous. Happy T day!
ReplyDeleteWhat an impressive and inspiring T post. Bleubeard and I love the personalized invitation you created. We are both honored and love the thoughtfulness behind it.
ReplyDeleteOf course, that tag is out of this world. I did something similar awhile back, where I printed an entire page of images and only needed one. One nice thing about it is, they come in handy over time. I adore how you added the butterfly, flowers, and lace to the cardboard tag and lovely image. It's a real beauty.
My tulips are all gone, but yours are in full bloom. Very impressive photos. I love the one of the cobblestones. Looks like one stone is missing in one of the squares. I bet it's beautiful in the summer. Of course, the other plants and flowers are fabulous, too.
Thanks for sharing your tag, your wonderful photos, and most of all, that adorable invitation with us for T this Tuesday.
I managed to print the image 22 times before I noticed what was going on....
DeleteYour pieces today are fantastic - love them both. I'm drawn to the Tea for two one I think - such an interesting piece - just let my eyes wander and enjoy. Beautiful walk today - the first photo is lovely - but then so are all the rest. hugs, Donna

She was really delightful, that's true. I am always careful walking over the cobble stones, they can be very treacherous.
