Windows

Hi Everybody!
Happy Weekend!

For Art Journal Journey, through my window, Kim Dellow's show your face and our 49 Faces challenge I made another of my doll's faces. She has been drawn onto an A3 sheet, painted with water colours and Gelatos, stamped and stenciled. The window stamps are from Darkroom Door, the stencils were from my giant EBAY packet. I made this one weeks back and re-discovered it today when looking for something else....

I woke up very early again, but made the best of it by watching the night fade into day:

Venus is still shining bright:

I enjoyed watching the ships at the Rhine again:

This information might be a little confusing for tourists:

And last but not least, a beautiful stone window at the Basilica:

Have a great day you all, take care,
and thanks a lot for coming by!

  1. You make the BEST doll faces. If I were buying a doll, I would want it to look like that.

BTW, I LOVE those windows. That must be one special stamp. The windows look so realistic.

Your sky shots look so moody, and Venus look so close. I've looked for it in my area, but it must be elusive, or I'm not out at the right time.

  10. Another sweet doll face paired with a perfect quote. The river was very busy on this day, I see--must be very interesting to watch all the boat traffic. Love the stone window!

    1. There is always a lot of traffic on the river - there's a huge river port a few kilometers down the river, I think they will be coming from there.

  13. You always have such clever faces. She is great. I think your window theme really says something about her...and you have to wonder if the light is getting in or not. And what a gorgeous morning you watched come into being! Hope you are having a good weekend so far! :)

  15. I'm happy you found this drawing for your journal page today. She is delightful and I like the verse too. The ships do have some unusual names and it is fun to view the variety that travels the Rhine.
Thanks for the beautiful window shot of the Basicilica. I always look forward to your photos.

  23. Pretty fancy windows there, she has three to choose from. Love all your barge like boats on the river. Nice being near a working river, although your boats are prettier than what we see here. xox
