T sTands for Tuesday on Monday

Hi Everybody!

My weekend was really good, I hope your one was, too!

For my anything goes challenge at AJJ I have another A3 face painted with acrylics to share. I think the green and gold and sprouting plants here is to remind of us spring, which hopefully will be here very soon:

The weekend went by too quickly. On Saturday I was tired and it rained all day, so I declared a pyjama day, and enjoyed staying home with my feet up and doing nothing! Okay, I sorted my tablets into their daily boxes, and with so many to sort it took a full hour. After that I read a lot, and watched a film in the evening.

This evening we will start celebrating Elizabeth's T sTands for Tuesday link party, so here a warm welcome to all of the nice ladies of the T Gang who visit here.

On Sunday  I went out to dinner again with Heike. We both had delicious meals and our usual drinks, but I forgot to take photos. But at least I took pics when we transferred to the Ice Parlour - cappuccino and cookies, and after a rest....

We decided to see if the waffles were good. I mean, we only stayed because it was pouring outside, and it would have been rude not to eat and drink....

Heike had the waffle with cherries and cream, and I had fruit salad, yogurt icecream and sauce on  mine - delicious!

And some cold and frosty photos:

Have a great day, take care,
and thanks a lot for coming by!

  4. Wow this is absolutely gorgeous, you are the queen of colour! Beautiful photos too. We've had snow too but nowhere near as pretty as yours. Take care and have a wonderful week, Sue xx

  5. Your long-necked beauties get more and more alluring, Valerie. You have carved out a niche for yourself with this genre. Now, as for this dining out, this is getting to be a habit. You don't provide us with a picture of this week's feast, but I can only imagine what you might have had after an eight- sausage plate last time. Maybe you graduated to the ten-sausage belly- burster. Then you moved on to waffles, and toppings, and decadence, after coffee and cookies already. Oy veh! Whatever else they did in the clinic they definitely tweeked your appetite genes! Better give my regards to Heike, your co-conspiratorial Sunday slurper. I am getting to know her. Think I'll have my lowly bowl of cereal now. Hugs and kisses - David

    1. Ah, a ten sausage belly buster sounds good! But they are very small sausages! I had a delicious steak with mashed potatoes and salad, yes! We were out again today, too, but only had coffee, and then went to the shoe shop to get new shoes, and now I have some very nice and comfortable ones. Heike, too. I will give her your regards! Hope you enjoyed your cereal, I am going to eat rice pudding this evening! Hugs, Valerie xxxx

  9. Your lady is a lovely woman to welcome spring, and I hope she does that. We have a big snow storm coming tonight; I really wonder if spring will ever arrive this year. Smile. But have your painted lady send some spring- maybe if you tell her she will. And your waffles look delicious. I think it's the perfect way to spend some time while it's raining. And a good way to warm up. Of course now I want waffles. Have a lovely new week and T day Valerie. I hope it warms up for you soon. hugs-Erika

  10. Those shades of green and blue look spectacular together. Sounds like you had the perfect weekend, a me day and going out with your friend. Those waffles look amazing. The cherry topping needs a drizzle of chocolate and then it would be a Schwarzwald Kirsch Wafel. I love your sky photos. Maybe I would love the snow photos better if we weren't getting slammed with a big storm tonight. Take care.

Oh, those waffles look so delicious! I think it is very considerate of you to order more food because you have to sit in that cafe because it's raining cats and dogs outside. I would have joined you! I love waffles, especially if they're well done.
Your frosty photos are lovely, they look wonderful. You certainly know how to capture the good sides of winter.

Love your lady with al thke details around her eyes and the butterfly at her throat. `There is also the obvious Valerie touch with the hair which makes it your own. Great colour combination too.
I am not into waffles, at least `I don't think so, but if yours are anything to go by I think I could be persuaded to try them. Now I am sure i have seen them in Asda!
