T sTands for Tuesday on Monday

Hi Everybody!

Hope you all enjoyed your weekend, and that we all have a good, new week.

Today I am sharing an A3 acrylic piece meant for my anything goes challenge at AJJ and for Elizabeth's T sTands for Tuesday link party which begins this evening. Welcome to all the nice ladies of the T Gang! The photos here are bad, I took them with my phone in the evening just using my desk light, but you can see Coffeecat, and that's the main thing!


This is the pub/restaurant where we usually eat. This time we sat inside, or we would have frozen:


Here's Heike saying 'Prost!' to you all:


And we drank our usual Weizen beer without alcohol:



I had a busy week at the clinic, was home at the weekend, and will be leaving the clinic on Wednesday. It's been a long time, but the days have flown by. I'm looking forward to getting back to normal, whatever that meansns in this crazy world.

    Coffee cat is an adorable piece. I wonder if he worries that someone is going to come and drink his coffee. I like how you made him dark against the pink background, He's a cutie. And that is one huge beer. But it's fun to go out, and how exciting that you'll be home again soon. I bet you're very excited.     Good morning, Valerie: You begin by asking whether we had a nice weekend and we had a great one in fact. We spent it in Algonquin Provincial Park, with good friends, and enjoyed as fine a winter weekend as you could possibly imagine. The weather was perfect, the birding was exceptional, friends were wonderful, my daughter and her family came down from Ottawa, and we all had a great time together. Between us we took enough food we could have fed a village! We didn't have the pleasure of a coffee cat of course, but we did have the company of many red squirrels and a magnificent Pine Martin. I didn't take an iPad or laptop with me so I was out of touch for two entire days, so now there's a little catchup to do. Glad to hear that you will be going home soon. Spring seems like a lovely time to be doing that. Hugs and kisses - David

    A few more days at the clinic and you will be ‘free’. I bet you are looking forward to that.
    Great photos and prosit to Heike too. Your beer looks very refreshing. They don’t have alcohol free Weizen beer here. Aren’t they clever nowadays that they make a tasty beer without alcohol.

    How appropriate that I came on here a day earlier than normal - your homecoming day. I hope you are resting and enjoying your own coffee. I wish you well in the coming weeks and days Valerie.
    Love your coffee cat, she is a lovely plump lady cat (I have decided because of her pink coffee cup) who likes the finer things in life such as coffee and pilchards, and , well, fish of any kind. The more expensive the better. I am rather surprised she is not wearing her pearls today.
