Hi Everybody!
Today I have a new piece to share for various challenges. I have been working on the Art and Soul gathering and enjoying the lessons from the artists. Tamara Laport showed her beautiful Mother Nature and how she painted her. My Mother Nature looks different, but she symbolises growth and new life.I am linking to Neet's fur or feathers challenge at AJJ . Nicole's Friday Face Off and Gillena's Friday art fun:
I used acryl paint and pens on A3 paper:
The little bird has found a good home with her:
The text is hard to read - 'My soul can find no Staircase to heaven unless it be through earth's loveliness'
Some pics from the sunrise. I love watching this while drinking my morning coffee:
Have a great day, take care,
and thanks a lot for coming by!
A beautiful sunrise indeed. I love your current lady. Hugs

DeleteHi Val, good morning 🌅! It's raining, hopefully you are enjoying it, too. Your mother nature is gorgeous, love her. Have a great day, hugs from us all! Sarah
ReplyDeleteHi Sarah, I am enjoying the rain! We need it so much! Hugs!
DeleteWhat a beautiful quote and what a lovely face your other Nature has. She certainly symbolises new growth and I adore that tiny baby bird that has landed at her throat, no doubt giving her voice over the world.
ReplyDeleteThat is a gorgeous green that you have used for her hair and eye and i must sayk how lovely that eye is that you have painted,
Thanks for another lovely painting in your journal for my theme at AJJ.
Hugs, Neet xx
Thanks Neet, glad you like it! I had fun making it, and I made another version of her too. Have a great day, hugs!
Deleteooh I love her hair, I didn't join in that workshop this time around, no time. ~elle
ReplyDeleteThanks Elle. Time is always a problem, I'm just doing a few of the lessons!
Deletelol. seeing this lady I would LOVE to have her hair. :)
ReplyDeleteYou and me both!
DeleteGood morning, Valerie: I had always imagined Mother Nature as an old lady, benevolent and kind (unless you mess with her too much), a Victorian dowager type, but you have set me straight on that. Here she is, big hair and all, with juicy full lips, and lush growth and verdure, and little birds perched at her neck. I have always had a love affair with Mother Nature, but now it's going to a whole new level! What a public service you have rendered here. Perhaps women will be demanding a Father Nature so that they cannot be denied equal treatment! The sunrises from your balcony are enchanting as always. It's a great way to greet the day. Hot coffee and a beautiful sky seems like a perfect combination to me, made only better my Mother Nature sitting at my side. Wishful thinking! Hugs and kisses - David
ReplyDeleteHi David, I'm pleased have created a mother nature that you would like by your side. The old and wrinkly Mother Nature has resigned because people have done so much to destroy the earth, so a young one has to take over the marathon task. A Father Nature by her side sound good! I'm having computer problems today, it keeps freezing and then it takes a long
DeleteBlogger pubished before I was ready. I wanted to say it takes a long time to get it going again. Have a great day take care, BIG hugs!
