Hi Everybody!
Hope you all had a great weekend, and I wish us all a good new week .
Today I have another piece for Neet's fur or feathers challenge at AJJ, and this time I am going with fur - cats. Sorry the colours are different on each photo, the metallic green/gold paint in the background was rather trying to photograph, and that's putting it politely!
This little kitty likes cuddling up to her hoomans, but only when she wants to!
This evening we will be beginning Elizabeth's T sTands for Tuesday, link party, so here a warm welcome to all of the nice ladies of the T Gang who visit here;
The weather forecast advises you to stay home on the couch!
Have a great, new week, take care,
and thanks a lot for coming by!

ReplyDeleteThanks Monica, have a great week!

All the best Jan

DeleteThanks so mich Christine, hae a great week!
DeleteI like the cat art. That sleeping cat is so cute. This morning I had tea instead of my usual coffee.. Nice to see the sheep in the field and the long shadow shot.
ReplyDeleteI hope you enjoyed your morning tea! Have a nice week!
DeleteLove the cute cat, Valerie.đș
ReplyDeleteFabulous series of photos, dear friend.☕
Thanks Veronica, I love the sheep! Have a great week!
DeleteHi Val, good morning! Hope you slept well and feel better today. Love your fabulous cat, what a gorgeous creature!. Lovely photos, too! Have a good week, hugs from us all, Sarah
ReplyDeleteThanks Sarah! I am feeling better today, my temperature is normal again. But I'm having an easy day today! Have a lovely week, hugs to you all!
DeleteLove your green cat! Reminds me of the work of Rosina Wachtmeister, quirky and so likeable. Hugs, Debbie
ReplyDeleteThanks Deb, sometmes I just like to play! Hugs!
DeleteGood morning, Valerie. I am not quite sure whether this is a cat of fond dreams or nightmares! Perhaps it depends on whether its claws are retracted or not. In either case it is an interesting creature and fits right in with the "elongated neck" period represented in your art of late. As some people get older and a little gaunt they tend to look long-necked, but it is better not to mention such things. And they don't have the spreading oak tree of hair you bestow upon them. My old hiking boots developed a hole on the right side of each foot in the same spot. Perhaps a weakness there, but I have had them for at least five years and they have been subjected to much punishment, and have seen service in several countries, so not surprising that they have succumbed. I have bought a new pair and need to take some short walks to break them in before embarking on a regular trek. Hugs and kisses - David
ReplyDeleteI wrote you an answer and it's gone AWOL. Blogger is really getting on my nerves lately. Have fun breaking in your new boots. I always wear my Doc Martins for hiking, I love them. Have a great day, big hugs, Valerie
DeleteBlogger's shenanigan's are getting worse, not better.
DeleteNow that is true!
DeleteHow true that last picture of yours is - people who love you do care about how they make you feel.
ReplyDeleteI love your latest painting. What a fabulous cat, it reminds me of one ornament I have (I have lots of cats) and the expression on the face is brilliant. Such a happy puss with a smile on her face and the most beautiful eyes. She is elegant, beautiful and yet has a lovely air about her that makes her less aloof (as cats can be) than you would imagine.from her stance.
Thank you for this lovely painting for my theme at AJJ.
Hugs, Neet xx
Yes, that last meme is very true. Glad you like Miss Kitty Greenspot! Have a great week, take care, hugs!
DeleteIt was early Sunday evening when your post showed on my sidebar. It is finally Monday in my world.
ReplyDeleteYour adorable cat gets two paws up. Clever, sweet, and adorable. It is also perfect for Neet's theme at AJJ, too.
I love the cat on the couch wanting coffee. That's how it starts. They get hooked while they are young and soon become caffeine addicts (grin). Loved all the memes, especially people who care about you. Thanks for sharing your great cat journal page, your coffee inspired art and photos, and your wonderful photos of the sheep and your shadow with us for T this week, dear friend.
I had a temperature again yesterday, so I stayed on the couch, too. And drank coffee. The addiction as you described it! My blog always goes live at 00:00! And yes, that last meme is really good! See you later, hugs!
DeleteI came by about 10 -15 minutes after 4 my time and you had already linked your post. Sorry I wasn't there right at 4, but I was just finishing cooking a meal and let time get away from me.
DeleteSorry to read you had a temperature yesterday. I hope by now, your temperature is normal.
Thanks E, I was still up as I had been talking on the phone đ± to a friend. But thanks that you tried and I hope your meal was good!
DeleteYour posts are lovely. Love to you my friend.

Thanks so much Regine, much appreciated! Hugs!
DeleteI like your cat picture. Funny how colors change when photographed. I wonder why.
ReplyDeleteThaks so much. Shiny things reflect the light differently and make taking photos hard.
DeleteThanks not thaks!
DeleteOoh,love that sweet kitty.
ReplyDeleteRe: The photos. Coffee and critters. What could be better.
Thanks for your continued support, Val. Appreciate ya. Hope you enjoy Geller;)
Hugs
As soon as I finish the book I started yesterday I will start on Geller! Hugs!
DeleteThe emerald green kitty is purrrrty. We have rain showers off and on for the next couple of days. Staying home and sitting on the couch with a cuppa sounds like a great plan. Happy T Day
ReplyDeleteThe weather here will be cool and rainy. Good weather for couch, book and coffee!
DeleteAwww I love your green cat, and I'm definitely wanting a cup of coffee now! Take care and have a very happy week, Sue xx

DeleteAdorable kitty art, Valerie, and I love that you did it in green and gold. Great kitty, coffee, shadow, and sheep photos too. Happy T-day sweet friend. Hugz
ReplyDeleteThanks so much Nancy. You are always so encouraging, many thanks! Happy T Day, hugs!
DeleteSomething about white sheep on a green field is just so lovely... and the coffee shots are spectacular.. Oh! Anything shiney , metallic or glittery is just awful to try to photograph so i can just imaginge the trouble you had.. Happy Tday! Hugs! deb
ReplyDeleteI love watching the sheep, it's so calming. I don't know why it's so hard to take pics of shiny stuff, but it is! Happy T Day and have a great week!
DeleteWhat a fun kitty. And I know what you mean how hard it is to photograph the shine. But that kitty does deserve gold! She’s a beauty. I hope your week is going well. And happy T day. Hugs ErikA
ReplyDeleteHi Erika, how nice that you came by! I hope you are enjoying your vacation! Happy T Day, hugs!
DeleteSuch a fabulous page! Loving the green and gold kitty cat đ. The coffee images are fabulous too - Happy T Day wishes! Hugs Jo x
ReplyDeleteThanks Jo, have a great week, hugs!
DeleteSomething has that cat's attention :) I love the sheep photos. Happy T Tuesday!
ReplyDeleteSheep are fabulous creatures, as are cats!
DeleteThat is a very cool cat - I'm not sure what is on her mind - but do we ever know that with cats anyway? I love all your coffee photos; coffee is such a wonderful drink. The sheep are cute and they seem to have a good life in their pasture next to the Rhein. Your shadow is very cool, too. I love to take shadow pictures like that. The only time I don't look fat... Thank you for your lovely comment on my blog. You are so right - there are so many wonderful places right where we live or close by, and seldom do we know them and visit them. It's a real shame.
ReplyDeleteCats are always cool, and keep their thoughts to themselves! We both know the advantages of shadow photos! Have a great week, enjoy life! Hugs!
DeleteTrying to get some comments written! I love your cat Valerie - I do believe thats a smile I see! I love the sheep and the shadow pics. Love that last quote. Hugs, Chrisx
ReplyDeleteI think it's more of a smirk on her face, she is up to something! Enjoy your time! Hugs!
DeleteHi Valerie, love your kitty, it looks very Klimt to me, the background I think is making me think that. Happy T Day! Elle/EOTC xx
ReplyDeleteI think the cat is a mix of Klimt and Rosina Wachtmeister!
Deleteoh yes! I can see that now!
DeleteThe are both artists I love!
DeleteWhat a fabulous and fun cat with his gold spots and I love the matching background which is different although alike, does that make sense?..
ReplyDeleteLuv CHRISSYxx
Absolutely, I know what you mean! Have a great day đ! Hugs!
DeleteBeautiful cat and green background! Reminds me of the Art Nouveau style.
ReplyDeleteLove the sheep. We just went to a show this week with live sheep in the production.
Happy Tea Day,
Kate
Thanks Kate, sheep đđđ are gorgeous, have a great day đ
DeleteThe green background changing color is wonderful. Love the sheep but DW is very allergic to wool. The photos are great. Hugs and Blessings
ReplyDeleteThanks Jim. Allergies can be so bad! Have a great day đ!
DeleteI love that cool cat journal page, especially the color. Really interesting beverage shots. Great friend quote. I hadn't heard that one, and I really like it. Love the shadow photograph; I like taking those. :) Happy T Day.
ReplyDeleteThanks Sharon đ. The friend quote is indeed good. Have a great day!
DeleteGreat photos Valerie, and I absolutely adore your cat painting!
