Hi Everybody!
Here's wishing us all a good weekend!
Today I have another tag-on-tag tag to share for Wendy's challenge at Tag Tuesday:
And a summery mixed media page with butterfly and flowers from one of my journals:
Some pictures from my walks, once again changed round from Blogger!
I wonder who lives here?
Dark clouds that went away without bringing rain, at least not here:
On my balcony:
I'm planning to have a good rest over the weekend to try to get rid of my bronchitis, so I'll be back on Monday
Have a great weekend, take care,
and thanks a lot for coming by!
Lovely tag and page. Your photos are summery and beautiful.

Thanks Annie, hugs to you and Bella!
DeleteBeautiful art Valerie! I have napkins with the same pattern that's on your second piece. I really love all the beautiful flower photos. Rest up this weekend and feel better soon. Hugs!
ReplyDeleteThanks Martha. I used napkins to make the background, I love these floral ones! Have a great weekend!
DeleteThat tag is amazing. I really like the little vintage girl and the pearls across the top. It's beautiful.
ReplyDeletei also really like the journal spread you created. What a lovely, lovely really romantic entry using Mia's theme.
Those roses were out of this world and the bale of hay looked like it got short changed of its wrapping. Hope you feel better on Monday, dear. Rest up and don't worry about the rest of the world.
Thanks Elizabeth! That bale of hay made me wonder, too! Perhaps the machine went haywire?!
DeleteBeautiful art! Love the fabulous photos.
ReplyDeleteHave a great weekend!
Thanks Veronica, have a great weekend!
DeleteHi Val, good morning! Sorry your bronchitis is still bad, rest well and don't stress! Love your beautiful art and photos as always. Hugs from us all, Sarah
ReplyDeleteThanks Sarah, I'm resting! Have a great weekend, hugs to all!
DeleteYour tag and page are so pretty. Where do you find room to keep them all? The roses are beautiful, and your bee friendly balcony goes to show you don't have to have a garden for the bees to come visit. Hope you are feeling better, but a good idea to rest up this weekend as it takes time. Hugs, Deb
ReplyDeleteThanks Deb! Finding space for everything is a problem, so I like to reuse things by chopping them up and making new pieces! Have a great weekend!
DeleteGood morning Valerie:
ReplyDeleteI hope that you will be able to use the weekend to rest up and get rid of your bronchitis. It is no fun to be sick like that. Despite feeling under the weather you did a fine job with your tag and your page. It is metaphorically true that until you spread your wings you have no idea how far you can fly, but throughout history a few humans have tried and have not flown far I can tell you! If you happen to discover who lives in the bird house be sure to let us know. I have been trying to figure out the size of the entrance hole, but it's hard to do based on the picture, so I will hazard a guess at Blue Tit. Of course, it is quite possible that it was not deemed prime living quarters at all, and is still vacant. It's good to have the bees visit you on your balcony. Perhaps they will cheer you up a little. Late yesterday afternoon we visited David's Dell, and when we returned home I made a simple dinner of cold chicken, potato salad, and a green salad with celery seed dressing, sprinkled with feta cheese. On a hot summer's day it was perfect! Take care and get well soon. Hugs and kisses. David.
Hi David! I am happy that I always work well in advance so have things in my store cupboard to tide me over till I have the energy to do more crafting! I think it's a blue tit, too, I haven't seen any goings-in-and-out but the tits are always in that tree. I like watching the bees buzzing around on my balcony! I think I won't try flying just now, I might come down with a big bump! David's Dell is a delightful place to visit, and surely very pleasant on a hot day. Your 'simple' dinner sounds delicious, yummy! It's too hot to cook here, but I'll have some cheese and tomatoes later on. Have a lovely weekend, hugs to ou both!
DeleteBronchitis -- I hate it! Your recent photos are lovely and I do love your mixed media page. Please get well soon!
ReplyDeleteThanks Jeanie, have a great weekend!
ReplyDeleteThat is a sweet tag-you chose the right word for sure. And a great butterfly page too. I love the pretty colors and how the black images really stand out. Looks like you are having beautiful flower blooms and bees right now too. The flowers are sure making them happy. Definitely get some rest this weekend. You don't want to end up back in a clinic or hospital I am sure. Hugs-Erika
ReplyDeleteThanks Erika! The bees evidently like this weather! I am resting, I certainly don't want to go into a Hospital again! Have a great weekend!
