T Stands for Tag Tuesday and more

Hi Everybody!
Hope you are all well and fit - have a good, new week.
This evening we are starting a new challenge at
Tag Tuesday
Our lovely and talented Michele is hosting and has chosen 'Alice in Wonderland' as her theme. As always, tags of all formats are welcome and you have 2 weeks to link to us. The challenge blog goes live this evening at 9 p.m.
This is my first tag - I chose to do a scene in Wonderland with the queen looking on. It also fits well to Elizabeth's T sTands for Tuesday theme; so here a warm welcome to all of the lovely ladies of the T Gang who visit:
As always, I have been drinking plenty of coffee:

My self-portrait shows that I have coffee on my mind:

Some pictures from the past few days - this sunflower is at least 3 meters tall:
A scene from an evening walk:
My big feet having a rest along the way:
The Canada geese feasting on the freshly harvested field:
The cormorant keeping watch:
Have a great day, take care,
and thanks a lot for coming by!

  1. Hi Val, good morning. Hope you are feeling better today, and that you have a good week. LOVE the gorgeous tag and header, and little S is looking at it with me and clapping her hands in joy - you've got a fan there! Wonderful photos, too, and I love the coffee-in-your head piece, great! Have a nice day, stay cool if possible! Hugs, Sarah

  3. Good morning Valerie: With a sunflower as tall as that you could modify the old legend about Jack to Jack and the Sunflower! Lots of good food for the birds there. Life before coffee? Of course not!! Once again, I am filled with admiration for your funky shoes! You are no doubt the trendiest old lady in town! The scene of the Canada Geese in the field of grain stubble could easily be repeated here. I was reading recently that mechanical harvesting leaves more grain in the field than traditional harvesting methods, so I am sure the birds are eating well. It is amazing to me that you can keep all these craft challenges straight in your head - and then go ahead and produce something for them. Incredible! What do you do with all the stuff you make? Enjoy the week ahead, hopefully with cooler temperatures. Until tomorrow, David

    1. Good morning David. I saw the sunflower again this morning and it is even larger, you might be right with Jack! The birds are all eating well, geese, pigeons, crows and gulls are all eating their fill, as well as mice and rabbits. Some times I wonder, too, how I keep all the challenges sorted! Journal pages stay in their albums, some tags are kept to make other things with them, and a lot of cards and tags are donated to the thrift shop or old people's home, where they get sold to increase their funds. It's extremely hot, outside and unfortunately inside, too, and will be staying with us all week. I#M not looking forward to it.
