Hi Everybody!
Hope your week is going well. We're still having cool and cloudy weather here, but up till now no rain, pity. And next week it is supposed to hot up again, oh dear!
For Wendy's 'circles' challenge at Tag Tuesday I have another hybrid tag. The background is cut from an old canvas which I have re-purposed to use for other things. The circles were cut from some tangle patterns (Serif), and the text was added digitally:
I am also linking to Paint Party Friday
and to Soma's Wandering Camera
As a person who spends a lot of time outside observing nature, the circles of life and the changing seasons and weather are things which fascinate me daily, so I love this theme. Hope to see you joining in, too!
This cheeky crow is often in Hofgarten, and loves sitting here:
The swans always glide by so majestically:
The crow again:
Lots of wild geese, always feeding:
Stormy weather on its way:
This rabbit was hiding under a bush:
More of my fave animals:
And more geese:
And last night as I went to close the curtains I saw that the lunar eclipse had started, which I had forgotten about, shame on me! So I nipped onto the balcony in my pyjamas and got some pics with my small camera. They are a bit grainy, but I didn't have time to get out the big one and tripod etc. It was great to watch, though, and I had bats swirling around me while I was outside. Sorry, they didn't stay to have their photos taken!
That's all for today!
Have a great day, take care,
and thanks a lot for coming by!
Wow,those last photos are incredible☺☺
ReplyDeleteThanks Natalia!
DeleteI really love the circle tag. Circles are so much fun to create with, aren't they? And I love all the animals and birds. There are 3 cheeky crows in my area lately. I see them when I am in the yard or on my walk. They like to make a lot of noise for sure! And wow. I don't think we had the eclipse here. They are really cool and you got some good photos. Lucky you to catch it. Happy Wednesday. Hope all is well. Hugs-Erika
ReplyDeleteHi Valerie wow what a beautiful tag i love the colours and patterns that you have used, well done my friend .
ReplyDeleteI always love looking at your pics and i love the one of the bunny rabbit, hope you have alovely day my friend xx
The circle piece is very vibrant and reminds me of planets in space. The picture of the crow on the statue of the little boys made me laugh. He looking down to see what the boys are looking at. Too funny. Aw, the bunny is so sweet. I haven't seen the bunnies in my yard since early Spring. Your moon photos are amazing. I like how your circle piece and moon photos are like bookends to the animal photos you took. Stay cool!
ReplyDeleteHi Val, another wonderful post, which also makes a circle with the tag at the beginning and the moon pics at the end. They are fantastic, by the way, well done! The tag is vibrant and gorgeous, and in your fave autumn colours. That raven is soooo cute, love it, you always get great animal and bird shots. Hope you are enjoying your day, I'm going to have a quick nap before the kids get home with P. Hugs, Sarah
ReplyDeleteI love your designs here and how you brought them together for this tag. And those colors!
ReplyDeleteYour nature photography is always a treat (that crow strikes me as posing for you lol), but oh! your moon shots! Fabulous!
That crow is a real poser and likes to play to his audience. I will show more pics next time.
DeleteLove the tag Valerie - great colours and textures. I missed the moon last night so it was great to see your fab photos - thanks.
ReplyDeleteAnd I adore the bunny photo especially.
Hope you've had a good day.
Gill x
A wonderful tag. I love the vibrant colours. Great photos, I forgot about the eclipse last night so it was lovely to see your photos.
ReplyDeletexxx Hazel.
Oh wow. These photos are exceptional. The eclipse and the critters.
ReplyDeleteLove all the cheery color in your piece.
Hope your day is filled with fun.
Hugs
Very nice pictures, the crow is fun;)
ReplyDeleteThanks, that crow is a real entertainer.
DeleteAnother lovely tag. (This time I made one and entered it before the deadline.) I wonder what that crow is thinking, as it's looking all around. Wonderful reflection photo of the black swans. You have a nice mix of animals to see in that area. Great photos of the lunar eclipse! I always try to get photos when celestial events occur. It continues to be very hot where I am, but we're supposed to get rain from the remnants of a tropical storm later today and tomorrow. Then it will get even hotter. Ugh.
ReplyDeleteOoh I love your tag, such beautiful glowing colours. We're having some really hot weather at the moment, but it's just sticky and horrible. I'd forgotten all about the eclipse too so it's great to see your photos. Have a fun (and hopefully cooler) week, Sue xx
ReplyDeleteA fabulous colourful tag Valerie, great hot colour shades, I think we will be looking for cooler blue shades soon.
ReplyDeleteI loved all the photos and the wonderful animals, nature is truely wonderful. Although I would have had to go indoors to get away from those bats.
Yvonne xx
I don't mind bats, but I freak out with spiders....
DeleteWow, fabulous colourful tag and wonderful pictures of the partial eclipse. I had forgotten about it unfortunately'
ReplyDeleteHugs Wendy
Beautiful colours in your tag. Great to see where you go wandering and to see the birds and animals. Wonderful photos of the eclipse.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful bright coloured tags and of course the lovely journey through your photos. Your title is me of late, 'going round in circles'..xx
ReplyDeleteI am ohhing and ahhing over your tag. Those circles are out of this world. They looked like they were floating on the surface.
ReplyDeleteI really enjoyed the crow. He must be quite the charmer. You have a great eye for the animals. But those moon shots were absolutely out of this world. I didn't even know there was going to be a solstice. What can I say, I must be out of the loop.
I'm not sure if I'm ever in the loop, so know what you mean....
DeleteA stunning hybrid make valerie and I love the rich colours used. That crow looked like he wanted to get in on the action in the firt photographs you have shown x The eclipse looks fantastic and always amazes me x TFS
ReplyDeleteSending my best wishes

Haven't seen the moon yet this week with clouds every night. They at least brought light showers to help our dry forests and my plants on the cabin deck while we were away on a short cruise in our boat. I really like the bright colours in your collage creation. - Margy
ReplyDeletewonderful, vibrant circle art, and oh what grand photography here- that moon- wow!
ReplyDeleteI am in love with this piece. Just brilliant.

Beautiful tag! The colours made me think of city lights. Circle is such a great theme. You have captured the living aspect of nature so beautifully in these photos. Well done with the lunar eclipse. Magical :)

You always bring us fabulous observations Valerie, makes me stop and think when i'm hurrying around from one place to the other mostly watching how fast my feet can run oblivious to whats going on around me. Sweet little rabbit just sat chilling.
ReplyDeleteThose pops of colour are like fireworks on your tag background.
Thanks for sharing Valerie.. Hugs Tracey xx
Love the colourful circles on your tag, they really pop with colour 😁. The Canada geese at our lake have now left on their migration. Happy wishes! Jo x
ReplyDeleteThey stay here all year and don't migrate, although a lot of people would be happy if they did!
DeleteI like the art, crow n moon phases! Thanks for sharing
