Hi Everybody!
Happy Weekend to you all.
For Art Journal Journey, Things with wings, and Moo Mania and More, Poultry, I have made another journal page. I used images from the graphics fairy, water colours, gel-pens and my lovely Gelatos. The cockerel also got a layer of Stickles.
Today I visited a place right at the opposite end of the town, and had a walk through the village and the fields:
There were lots of wild geese walking around the fields
I saw quite a lot of these birds, they are about the same size as the wild geese, but I have no clue what they are - does anybody know?
Just got some information from one of my readers that these are ruddy shelducks (Rostgans in German) - thanks Sarah.
The wild geese enjoyed marching around.
The wings of those ducks are amazing with green, black and white bands.
Have a nice weekend you all, take care,
and thanks a lot for coming by!
Lovely page and quote, lol. No idea about those birds though.
ReplyDeleteHi Val, love your fun page again, and of course, the photos. I think those birds are ruddy shelducks, they are quite rare here, so well done on spotting them! Hugs, Sarah

Yes, it's sad that people steal everything if it's not locked, barred and bolted.

My Happy Place
Hi Valerie, I am really enjoying your poultry designs and this one is fabulous. Love the quote you added too and the transparency with the sheet music showing through.
ReplyDeleteGreat walking pics. I love seeing the building and cottages.
Have a great weekend.
Hugs, CM
This rooster page is just gorgeous and I love the background and the transparencies. Great photos too.

Fantastic "chicken" pages the last couple of days. Love the roosters! The photos today are wonderful. Thanks for sharing. Question, "How long does it take you to walk from your apartment to the river?
ReplyDeleteAbout 5 minutes!
DeleteWonderful pictures Valerie. I like Roosters and chickens too. Our rooster was a one man bird and took a great dislike to me although he loved my husband. I know he thought he was protecting his ladies but he attacked me one day and it was not fun! Thank God Art was there and finally got the rooster to stop! That gave ne time to get out of the barn yard. And those stupid goats - they just stood there and warched! Obviously they were smart enough to know not to go near Jack - the rooster from hell!
ReplyDeleteLove all you do Sugar but you know that!

I was always scared of the rooster at my auntie's place - he ruled the back yard and chased us when we needed to pass through 'his' territory!
DeleteOh this is brilliant Valerie, I love the sentiment and your translucent chicken and rooster are fab xx
