Hi Everybody!

For Alison's come fly with me challenge at AJJ I have a 2 page spread for which I used painting, stamping and collage:
The text was computer generated and printed onto the painted and stamped page:
And some funnies / thinkies:
And some photos 10 years ago to this day:
Some rust for Elizabeth:
Flowers:
Beautiful horses:
The view from my window:
Have a great day, take care,
And thanks a lot for coming by.
I'll be back on Friday!
Happy midweek wishes.

ReplyDeleteThanks so much, Peggy, always good to see you here!
DeleteHi Val, good morning! Hope you slept well. I love visiting you, too, and love your beautiful art and photos. The last one is like a scene from a magical film, love it. Hugs from us all, Sarah
ReplyDeleteThanks Sarah, the beautiful light and the crescent moon make it special. Have a great day!
DeleteLovely spread and gorgeous photos, ten years wasn't that long ago was it. Thanks for the fun thinkies.
ReplyDeleteI can hardly believe how quickly time has flown. Have a great day 😊 Hugs.
DeleteHi Valerie, I have had what seems my usual weekly catch up, had lots of smiles at the funnies your art pages look fantastic.
ReplyDeleteI hope all is well with you have a good week.
Yvonne xx
Thanks Yvonne, hope all is well with you. Take care, hugs!
DeleteYour two-page layout looks fabulous and you must have a great printer that prints over your painted pieces! Mine gives me fits just trying to print cardstock! LOL Great photos, TFS,
ReplyDeleteThanks Carol. This printer is good, it's an HP Desktop. Hugs, Valerie
DeleteThe future does indeed come a day at a time, Valerie, but the days get shorter with each passing year. There was a time I am sure that I thought I would never reach double digits, now I wonder about three! I hope not! On the weekend we will be going to visit my daughter in Ottawa, leaving here dark and early Friday morning. She works for the Ottawa School Board, so she now has the summer off and will have the time and energy to pamper her father in an entirely appropriate manner. She is a great cook, and quite creative, so we have some excellent meals to look forward to, of that I have no doubt. It will be fun! Hugs and kisses - David
ReplyDeleteOh yes, the days get shorter all the time! I am sure you will be happy to visit your daughter, especially if she has lots of free time, and can cook so well. Don't eat for a few days so you are really famished when you arrive! Hugs, Valerie xxxxx
DeleteI am so enjoying your funnies today. I thought everyone pushes the buttons on those toys Hee! Hee! That rusty gate is interesting too, love the colours but most of all your gorgeous art work. Hugs. Angela xXx
ReplyDeleteI just don't know why we have to try them out! Hugs!
DeleteU Ciebie zawsze można zobaczyć coś ciekawego.
ReplyDeleteYes, those who look, see!
DeleteFabulous journal pages-love all the Nature and rust pics
ReplyDeleteCarol x
Thanks Carol, you seem to be a rust fan too!
DeleteSuch a beautiful view, wish I had one from my window. Love those horses. It's been decades since I rode one.
ReplyDeleteThanks, the view is the best part of my apart. Hugs
DeleteLove your artwork! And the photos are tremendous.
ReplyDeleteThanks Debra, have a great day!
DeleteNice spread, Valerie, love how she is gesturing with her arm to the quote on the facing page. Hope this week is a bit cooler for you, maybe hope for some rain. I know we could use some. The Gulf of Mexico waters are so hot that we aren't getting cooled off at night like usual so it's making it even hotter here. Thankfully it's partly cloudy today. And then up North they are flooding. Ugh! xxo
ReplyDeleteI love making collage, and seeing how the various pieces blend together. Sorry it's so hot, that doesn't sound good,! The weather is cràzy all over the world!
DeleteWonderful art for my AJJ theme, and great photos Valerie! I love the rust!
ReplyDeleteAlison
I love rust, too, glad you enjoyed it! Hugs!
DeleteWow what amazing journal pages, you really know how to use those colours!
ReplyDeleteIt's been quite cool here today, but we are having 10 days of showers and thunder - welcome to Summer lol.
Take care and have a great week, Sue xx
Lucky you, we're in the Sahara here.Well it feels like that! Have a great week! Hugsxxxxx

ReplyDeleteThanks Erika. It has cooled down a bit, but still too hot in my apartment! Have a great day, look after yourself! Hugs.

DeleteI love that eye in the background. You can certainly do mixed media well. That double spread is gorgeous. Love the colours!
ReplyDeleteGreat funnies and thinkies - love the tatts on the elderly ladies. You have a point there - not me.
You have some beautiful photos and I especially like the rust ones - most of all the flower head.
Hugs, Neet xx
Thanks Neet! I can't understand how anybody could want to be tattooed, ghastly! I love rust, too! Hugs, Valerie

Just think of all the nice people you could meet....
DeleteI hope you see this comment, Valerie. I like that spread you created for Alison's theme at AJJ. I LIKE that font you used.
ReplyDeleteAnd of course, you KNOW how much I LOVE rust. That rusty fence with the finial is out of this world. I love it. Those nursing home 2050 women are scary and spooky ugly.
Thanks Elizabeth. The font is called creepy crawly!
