Hi Everybody!
Here's wishing us all a good new week!
Today I am sharing a face with lots of dots, diamonds and colours - crazy, but I like it! I have made a few like this and will show them bit by bit, things are just rather stressful just now. This was painted with acrylics onto an A3 page:
And I magicked some flowers onto it so I can link to Aimeslee's 'flowers' challenge at AJJ:

DeleteWow, Valerie, you have really let your imagination run wild with this one, and she looks quite wonderful. Perhaps when you created her you were on a sugar rush from all those desserts you are showing us. I bet you didn't have them all at one sitting, but if you had two it wouldn't shock me! Spring in your neck of the woods, or perhaps at your bend in the stream, looks delightful, although I have to say it is getting wonderful here too. I led a walk yesterday for fifteen ladies from the local horticultural society and they had a great time. Chickadees and nuthatches came to feed from the hand and a male Downy Woodpecker joined in too, much to everyone's delight. And a raccoon put on quite a show high in a tree. This morning it is sunny and bright so I think I will have to clean off the patio and bring out the summer furniture. I don't think that Miriam will let me put it off any longer! ReplyDeleteThanks David, glad you lik my strange girl! I was most probably on a coffee high when I painted her, that's always my fave! Your trip yesterday sounds wonderful, you were surrounded by horticultural females and birds, what more could you want?! Okay, please don't tell me! And how lovely you saw a raccoon doing its tricks, that was a great bonus. My home help cleaned my balcony and make it look good last week, I'm so gla I din't have to do it. ReplyDeleteYour pictures from the Eiscafe are real torture! We don;t have anything close to that in this country and I miss it. Your face is fantastic - both sides of it. Her eye is so expressive. DeleteWonderful art and words - I think a lot of people are not living life to its fullest. Espeially after Covid - hoping that improves soon. I think we are all having a little PTSD.
