Hi Everybody!
Hope you all enjoyed your weekend. It was a strange but good feeling being at home on my own, and slowly I am getting used to it. I did some shopping on Friday to tide me over the weekend and today I will drive with my neighbour to Aldi to stock up for the week. I managed a couple of nice walks, but have to take it slowly because of the atrial fibrillation which keeps rearing its ugly head.

ReplyDeleteYes take is slowly, I feel for you as I have Atrial fibrulation, was diagnosed end of last year. I still don't feel right and tire so quickly. Going to book myself in to the doctors for a check up this week. xx

DeleteGood morning, Valerie: It no doubt feels quite strange to be home again after the hubbub of the clinic and now you are back to mundane chores like shopping and wondering what to cook for dinner. Last night we made fish, with potato wedges and cole slaw and there would have been more than enough for a third plate. We have leftovers - not quite enough for a dinner for two but more than enough for one. A slow careful walk in the park is better than no walk at all, so take it easy and keep doing it. It was twenty-six degrees here yesterday - unbelievable - and Miriam and I did a little birding in one of our local parks. One of Miriam's sisters is coming to have lunch with us and we'll probably go for a little walk too. Her husband has dementia and it is getting more and more difficult to deal with him, so any time she can get a break she relishes it. Take good care. Hugs and kisses, David

Glad you had a birding day with warm weather, that was good! Dementia is very hard on the families of the sufferers, am'm sure Miriam 's sister will enjoy having lunch with you. Take care, hugs!

Hopefully you can get it under control and not have to constantly deal with it. But good to know what it is and to be home. Hurrah! DeleteJust being outside is good for us. Sometimes I think we over-emphasize speed and distance when short walks might be better :)
