Midweek post

Hi Everybody!

It's the middle of the week already - time flies. I got some good news today, I can go home in 2 weeks,  I feel like I have been here forever. Soon I wil be back in my own, messy, arty kitchen!

Today I have another piece to share for Alison's.'play it again, Sam' challenge at AJJ. It is an A3 piece painted with acrylics and acrylic pens for the myriad of dots. I am calling it 'Starry, starry night', and thinking of Vincent van Gogh as well as the song starry, starry night from Don McLean. The words on the tree mean 'Tree of life'

The weather here is wild, wet and windy, so I'm showing some pics from this day 2016:

Have a great day, take care,
and thanks a lot for coming by!

That means things are looking up for you medically, that you are getting the right mix and under control. I'm just thrilled for you. All other words on this post would pale by comparison!

  8. What good news, Valerie, that you will be able to return home in a couple of weeks. Are you sure you remember how to get there? You'll have to ask the clinic if you can receive permission to go for lunch each day! You'll be able to see old friends, and if you wear a coat with big pockets, fill them with some of the goodies from the table in the kitchen! You'll cut down on your grocery costs in a major way! Ten years ago we had an Italian student named Erica stay with us for three weeks as part of a student exchange, and ever since we have referred to her as our Italian granddaughter. Now she is a twenty-seven year old chemical engineer and will be visiting Brantford, a city not too far from here, on business for her employer. Tonight we will be having dinner together. It will be wonderful to see her after so many years. Take good cate and keep getting stronger. Hugs and kisses, David

  17. I like your tree of life. The Hebrew words are sometimes used as the name of a synagogue here, and that’s the name of a very historic library in Amsterdam.
