ReplyDeleteThanks. We had a very early spring, so I'm hopeful!
DeleteThanks for that instruction, I don't think I would know how to do that. LOL hee hee hee. I am writing this on Sunday night here in the US. I will have to check to see how much time is between us. Have a great day.

ReplyDeleteThanks Sarah, hugs to all!
DeleteLOL, I once did How to Eat a Cadbury's Crème Egg! You are so funny.
ReplyDeletebtw, been meaning to ask, what, please, is the translation of bastelmania?
Hugs, Deb
Basteln is German for crafting! I wish you hadnt reminded me of those cream eggs, They are addictive!
DeleteI remember once reading that if the entire economy of the world collapsed, the one company that would be able to secure refinancing based on its logo alone would be Coca Cola. I suspect that today that might have been replaced by an Internet giant, but that Cocal Cola logo is still ubiquitous throughout the world. I have a friend who drinks it like water! As for me - never! Thanks for the great shot of the Black-headed Gulls in winter plumage lining up alongside the river. How beautiful they look, Valerie. Yesterday we had more snow and I cleared off the driveway and sidewalk again. That's every day since the day after Christmas if I am not mistaken - maybe one day's break. Then Miriam and I went for a drive in the country and saw a Short-eared Owl. How sweet is that? Especially since we had seen beautiful make and female Snowy Owls the day before. And here I am now communicating with a wise old owl in Germany! It's all a bit of a hoot! If you eat too many of those chocolate muffins you will have to get out your shovel! Take care until we meet again tomorrow. Huggs and kisses, David
ReplyDeleteHi David, good afternoon! Just got up after my afternoon nap. I like cola, but more in summer than winter and it can't hold a candle to coffee! The gulls are indeed beautiful, and I love watching them fly. I saw lots of gulls and cross on my walk, and in the gardens here there are robins, blackbirds and sparrows. And a cat, probably feral. How nice to see the owl, you were lucky. Sorry you need to shovel so much snow, there's none here just now, but it was very icy at the weekend. Hoot, hoot! Yesterday afternoon we baked waffles, but they soon disappeared! Have a great day, hugs to you and Miriam!
DeleteThat should be gulls and crows!
DeleteOh, that cherry cake is making my mouth water. The Chocolate muffins, too. I'll have to enjoy your blue sky pics as today is cloudy with a little snow. The seagulls always look like they are waiting for the ferry. Take care and have a good day
ReplyDeleteThe seagulls love the ferry and the shops and seem to find rich pickings. Cherry cake is always good.Stay safe!

ReplyDeleteI like that cola advert and the cherry cheesecake looks delicious.
ReplyDeleteNow I know how to eat a chocolate muffin. The problem: I don't have a chocolate muffin to eat. What to do? Can't go shopping for a chocolate muffin, too risky. Can't go to a cafe: too cold to eat outdoors, not allowed to eat indoors. What to do?
ReplyDeleteBe safe and well, and have a better year in 2021.

ReplyDeleteYou made me really hungry with the cherry cake. I would love to be able to go out again. I'm sure most of us are.
I may need more help eating a chocolate muffin. I know practice makes perfect, so if I ever find a chocolate muffin, I'll practice eating it. I have lots of whipping cream, I just have to whip it (grin). Right now, it's just heavy cream.

DeleteOh my, envious of those yummy foods, and the sunshiny photos you shared! Happy New Year!
ReplyDeleteThanks Dianne, happy New Year!
DeleteHow I love those old adverts, especially if they are on tin. Mind you they are so expensive, I sometimes see them on an auction programme and marvel at the price they bring. Your picture reminded me of America and brought to mind the dreadful riots of yesterday - I cannot believe what is going on over there.
ReplyDeleteThank you for the lovely photographs too and the muffin one was a treat certainly.
Hugs, Neet xx
I loved the 'how to eat a muffin' instructions! I too am longing to go out for a coffee! I consider myself a patient sort but these days I sometimes find myself becoming more frustrated just waiting!!!! Aaah! Last year when we were making plans, it looks beautiful!,Hugs, Chrisx
ReplyDeleteLove vintage posters, especially the ones on tin. Your lady looks wonderful, so bright and cheery with her drinks. Mind you I quite like the food you are eating with your drink.
ReplyDeleteI so enjoyed 'how to eat a muffin' but the trouble is I started a diet this last week and now I am longing for a chocolate muffin, not bothered about the cream but definitely the icing on top.
Hugs, Neet xx
