Hi Everybody!
Life goes on very well in the clinic. We have good food, good treatment, plenty of free time and a kitchen stocked with fruit, snacks, cake cheese, sausage, various sorts of bread and of course the wonderful coffee machine I showed yesterday. And three good meals a day on top of it all. It's a good place to rest, heal and recuperate.
I have my small journal - a bit larger than A5 - with me, and this is one of the faces I made this week, using water-colours, pencils, a gold pen and some pastels from my 'clinic stash':

DeleteAnother gorgeous woman from Valerie's brush! I will obviously have to get them all enlarged, printed and framed, and have a gallery of them in the house. But wait, that means I would have to take down all my beloved bird art.......okay, forget that; the birds stay! Your subjects do have a look of mystery about them though; they seem to have depth and a level of inscrutability - far more than just the proverbial pretty face. The nighttime pictures of the neighbourhood are very atmospheric, but I am wondering, do you feel secure wandering around at night by yourself? I suppose I have answered my own question, since the pictures are there to prove it. I hope that you are continuing to enjoy your time at the clinic, and that the benefits therefrom continue to mount. ReplyDeleteHi David, I am enjoying supplying you with gorgeous women, even if they are just on paper! I'm sure your birds are better suited for hanging on the walls at home! I feel secure here at night. It's a very quiet place, our local police office is open twice a week for just 2hours, that a lot.I do go by my apartment here and there, it's just along the road and on my route when I go walking.I hope you have some good walks over the weekend, enjoy!
